I noticed this time around that the original doesn’t come with that sauce from before. I ordered one trying to make sure I wouldn’t get the sauce and the chick at the register said no sauce came on it. I was pleased. I like using the border sauces on it to spice it up how I like it.

But gotta say, I love the simplicity of it and the price.

Weird — the blurb on the new poster says it comes with a chipotle sauce, and I had one the other day and it sure did (I add some Fire sauce too). I thought it was tasty, but it seemed a little smaller than the last time they were offered.

It was so so with very little chicken.
    Is it worth $1, probably.
A little more chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and onions and toast the bread a little and it would be pretty good.

looks like the new Taco Bell item generator is on the fritz and they are going retro. p.s. I enjoy Taco Bell.

My Taco Bell’s been pretty generous with the chicken–I was expecting a lot less for a buck. Maybe I was just anticipating getting screwed after those 99-cent summer discounts where you ended up getting what you paid for.

Got the flatbread once and it literally only had two small slithers of chicken meat on it, with a few shreds of cheese. It was almost all flatbread.

I know for a dollar you can’t gripe too much but I still felt cheated.
