Does your local Chipotle serve brown rice yet?
Categories: Food News Tags: Chipotle, Chipotle Brown Rice
I have no local Chipotle!
Is it still of the cilanto-lime variety?
Chipotle is good, but Freebirds is better.
my fellow texans know what I’m talking about.
Maybe one of you reviewers should look into it.
I disagree, Freebirds and Chipotle are both overrated.
None of us are anywhere near Texas unfortunatly.
I think Freebirds is highly overrated. Other than the fact they have more variety, I don’t think they do anything better than chipotle. No individual ingredient (rice, meat, salsa) is better than chipotle’s, and while it’s neat to have so many ingredients available, the lack of labeling makes it more frustrating to me. Also their guacamole is very below average.
Just my opinion though — I know a lot of folks who think Freebirds is way better. I just think they’re wrong 🙂
Yes they do and yes it was.
yes.. is it still lime?
I’ve had it a few times. Unsurprisingly, Chipotle did it right. I may actually like it more than the white rice.
Ooooh this is interesting….
Don’t care for brown rice, and the cilantro rice sucks. Give me some proper red rice.
Ours just got it this week, holla!
I just tried the brown rice in a veggie burrito. It’s got a subtle nutty-ness that goes really well with the other ingredients. It’s prepaired the same way as the white rice with lime and cilantro. If you dig the white rice you should love the brown. 8/10
It is definatly overdue, the brown rice option is almost a must… that being said, I will never ever like brown rice… it just doesen’t taste very good to me… still it is an awesome option for those that do like it!
It’s about time. White rice pales in comparison to brown rice in terms of nutritional value. I’m glad to hear they are fixing it the same way. Is this permanent or just a “limited time only” thing?
Pretty sure its here to stay.
