Food News: “World of Flavors” from Cosi
Fast casual cafe Cosi is focusing on menu innovation this year, and they’re going on a four continent cruise to get you there. From now until March 28, Cosi will be offering “Asian” flavors in addition to their regular menu. On tap for the first three months of the year will be a Sweet Curry Chicken Sandwich and Thai Satay Chicken Flatbread pizza. Here’s a little more information:
Sweet Curry Chicken Sandwich
Curry is making its mark on our menu. We’ve taken a less spicy version of the popular Indian flavor and complimented it with gourmet ingredients for a full-flavored and delightful sandwich. Grilled chicken, dried cranberries, and green onions in a sweet yellow curry yogurt sauce, topped with shredded lettuce and candied pistachios (515 calories, 12 g fat, 2 g sat fat, 63 g carbs, 37 g protein).
Thai Satay Chicken Flatbread
Far from your ordinary pizza, the difference is in the sauce. Its layers start with a Thai satay spicy peanut sauce, used in a variety of popular Asian cuisines and sure to be a favorite at Così. Thai satay peanut sauce, grilled chicken, red onions, shredded carrots, scallions, mozzarella cheese and fresh chopped cilantro, roasted peanuts and served with a lime (940 calories, 29 g fat, 8 g sat fat, 113 g carbs, 60 g protein).
I’ve always thought Cosi had some good looking menu items, but their locations always seem to be out of the way for me. Anyone a fan?
I don’t like it when they take a dish that is supposed to be spicy and then remove the spices. The whole point of curry is the spices.
i love cosi food, im positive this is wonderful.
