I’ve had it here in Madison, WI and it as pretty good.

  2. Natalie says:

Looks decent. I normally get the spicy chicken sandwich so maybe this will be good on days that I’m broke.

  3. Bill says:

its been in vanc wa the last three months and its really good

  4. Seeker says:

So it’s their normal $0.99 chicken sandwich with monterey jack and ranch? I feel this won’t last long at my nearby Wendy’s, similar to how their double-stack was $0.99 and their single cheeseburger was $1.29, and now their double-stack is $1.49 and the single is $0.99.

Either way, adding my own monterey jack and ranch to their normal chicken sandwich sounds like a good venture if they don’t carry it.

I had it a while back it pretty much tasted like a regular chicken sandwich. I think It would be better with bacon.

  6. SPM says:

There is too much of a pricing disparity amonst Wendys locations. I thought that whole My 99 concept was supposed to tackle that issue but I guess Wendy’s does not have a great degree of say over what their franchisees charge, even when it comes to a value menu.

  7. @graciHas says:

wendy’s has the worst value menu out there, which is a shame because their food tastes so good. last time i checked, the wendy’s by me doesn’t have anything under $1.49

This was a $1.19 at mine, the cheapest you’ll find anything on any Wendy’s Value Menu in or near my town. Quality-wise, you could do worse for the price, but the McDonald’s staples are still holding steady at a buck around here.

  8. Shannon says:

It was good. I liked the ranch with the cheese.

  9. Kim says:

I just visited Wendys and was charged $1.99 ea for these sandwiches. I inquired about the 99 cents sandwiches and was told no, they’re $1.99.

  10. Brittany says:

I just tried the Monterey Ranch Chicken Sandwich today and I couldn’t even finish it. It had way too much of an onion-y taste to it. To make matters worse, I couldn’t eat any of the meal because the fries were so terrible.

  11. Jim says:

Love the ranch. Good sandwich, but yeah. Fast food chains are getting greedier and greedier. 1.49 for this at mine.

  12. T.G. says:

The Monterey chicken sandwich is not new, and has been my favorite sandwich at Wendy’s for years! They would bring it out for a limited time and they pull it back off the menu. I was so excited they were adding it back to their menu!! Then I tried it, and was so disappointed!!! They have taken the cheap route and changed the sauce, chicken, and the bun! It tastes nothing like their original Monterey Ranch Chicken Sandwich!! It was a huge disappointment, and I will never order one again!!
