Food News: Dunkin’ Donuts Launches Tuna Sandwiches

Looks like Dunkin’ Donuts is expanding its sandwich line again, this time trying something completely new – Tuna Sandwiches.

Our tasty Tuna Sandwich is blended with mayonnaise, celery, herbs and spices all on a toasted plain bagel. Or, try our oven-toasted Tuna Melt, featuring the same tasty ingredients and topped with a slice of cheddar cheese on a croissant. Both will hit the spot and keep you runnin’.

The Tuna Salad on a bagel clocks in at 540 calories, 20 grams of fat, and 3 grams of saturated fat, while the Tuna Melt Sandwich rounds out at 770 calories, 30 grams of fat, and 7 grams of saturated fat. Want something a bit lighter? Try it on a croissant at 630 calories and 40 grams of fat.

The picture looks good. However, I can’t imagine the actual product being anything close to that. Something about the thought of tuna salad and Dunkin Dounts makes my insides curl.

  2. Dan L. says:

This has been available in NYC for more than 6 months and Philly for about 3. They skimp on the tuna but the taste is quite good.

  3. AK says:

They’ve had that for a while (at least in the NYC area). I believe they’ve also had a similar chicken salad.

  4. James says:

The light option here is clearly the bagel. The croissant has more calories and twice the fat content.

  5. J.B. says:

I can literally make this in 3 minutes at home, why would I buy this?
