Football Sunday Week 2: What Are You Grubbing On?

Week 1 of the NFL season brought the Haybokian Knights, fantasy football win #1.  As for my Detroit Lions… Calvin Johnson got robbed, Matthew Stafford now has a banged up shoulder, and the season starts off 0-1… just another punch in the face for me personally.  BBQ Chicken Pizza was my grub of choice for the first Sunday of the 2010 NFL season.  So now we move on to week 2 and I’m thinking of skipping the traditional pizza, wings etc.  3 homemade beef and bean burritos with accompanying chips/salsa. I also have a few Anchor Steam beers sitting in my fridge so it feels like a perfect day to say goodbye to them.  Time to kick back, relax, and watch some games. What are you grubbing on today?

I was grubbing on some pepperoni pizza and a couple of can of dublin dr pepper. Not bad grub for a 1am Monday morning kickoff here in Australia!

Packers have MNF next week which is essentially Tuesday Morning Football for me, and I think some ultimate nachos might be on the cards!

I grubbed on a homemade something that was a cross between a pesto panini and grilled cheese with no football involved. I’ll just crawl in my hole now before any projectiles are thrown at me.

We watch baseball around here, but this week we did make some great queso dip & chicken enchiladas!

I grubbed on lots of beer and burgers at the game. I was chomping on a pretzel when my beloved Skins threw away the game. This week probably a cookout and wings with beer of course.
