Monopoly at McDonald’s Starts Today: 1 in 4 Wins!

The Monopoly game at McDonald’s is back:

This year you can pick up MONOPOLY Game Pieces on classic McDonald’s menu items including the Big Mac, Large Fries, 10- or 20-piece McNuggets, Filet-O-Fish, McGriddles, Hash Browns, medium or large McCafé beverages and medium fountain drinks.  Throughout the month, customers have the chance to win McDonald’s food, $1 Million, a 2011 Ford Shelby GT500, a Beaches vacation and a bunch of other exciting prizes through peeled Game Pieces—and this year, ONE in FOUR is a WINNER!

Visit your local McDonald’s to collect Game Pieces or you can also visit www.playatmcd.com to enter your Game Piece Code for a chance to win prizes instantly—like Walmart gift cards, a 2011 Ford GT500 or an EA SPORTS trip for two—and to be entered for a chance to participate in the $1 Million Dollar Roll Sweepstakes.

Yaaaaay, sort of! But what items have the pieces? You’re being an information cocktease, even though I could probably take two seconds of my time and go look it up myself!

    • Ryan says:

Haha, sorry about that. I was at an airport gate about to board and I quickly posted this… Just updated w some more info 🙂

    For you and everyone else:

McCafe Coffee (Medium and Large), Large Fries, Large Fountain Drink, both sizes of smoothie, McGriddles, Hash browns, Big Mac, 10 pc. Chicken Nuggets, and Filet O’ Fish.

Anyway, this is probably my favorite promotion in the fast food business. It goes so far that one night, during the promo, I had a dream where someone lived, Park Place was the rare sticker, and I was with a mid-age lady who happily gave me a Boardwalk for a Park Place, which I had many of. Naturally, we both won one million. Yay! If only it was that easy.

Of course that same year, a friend and I had all the pieces for a prize (Connecticut series, robin egg blue), which was good for a Gameboy Advance that year. We didn’t remember to cash the pieces in on time. Ugh!

Nothing beats the story, though, of the Grand Prize (national, a Caribbean Cruise) I won at Wendy’s that I literally ate right up. 🙁 But, that’s for another day. Maybe when Wendy’s next contest or promo comes around. One that isn’t this lazy, stupid 1/2 salad and multi-dollar menu item promotion, for “only” $5.99. If it’s requested, I’ll do it earlier.

      Thanks for all the info!

You’re welcome, Adam, it was my pleasure! Seriously, I love giving info to you. (Hope you got my email about the new Wendy’s “Big Mac” burger.)

Odd that the large drink isn’t an option; for the longest time that was your only drink size that had the stickers. I got lucky today, a McFlurry and a large beef sandwich! That’s just for lunch, I’m going on the road to near Pittsburgh to see family; McDonald’s for supper, too.

And I’m below average/average weight, don’t worry about me. :p

I think I am going to find ways to work “information cocktease” into my email correspondence this week. Priceless Kelley. Thank you. heehee

This game drives me bananas because where I used to work people were always begging us for our pieces off our meals – it got so I just stopped going to McDs. tho’ I did get a few small fries and cokes out of the deal 🙂

  4. Jessica Leigh says:

Yay! I always play, even though I never win! I know they have them on drinks, large fries, fish sandwiches, chicken nuggets, Big Macs, and Mocha drinks!

  5. Mikey says:

I won 90 MyCoke Reward points and a medium fry today just off my McGriddle meal this morning. better than nothing!

  6. Jon says:

Correction: No Monopoly pieces on large fountain drinks this year, apparently they only on medium size drinks.

  7. Adam says:

They don’t lie. Got a drink and a Filet o Fish today and won a medium fry! Hoozah!

  8. Q says:

You get four pieces per large fry! I am going to eat a lot of my MickeyD fries until I get something good! I am determined dammit!

  9. Mr.Blanks says:

moopoly is boring to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and i can’t win nothing

  10. Kristin says:

I can get 6 pieces between fries and drinks and 99.9% of the time, I win nothing. I have a pile of game pieces and the only thing I’ve won is 20 prints from Snapfish. Yeah, I’m a little bitter….1 in 4 is not close to the truth, at least where I live.

  11. Christian says:

I would like to have a chance to be 1of
    4

  12. Charlie says:

I have purchased enough product to acquire 16 monopoly pieces and not one is a winner of any kind. Doesn’t seem like 1 in 4 wins to me. Looks more like another corporate scam….

  13. Bob says:

1 in 4 is not the odds, the odds I experienced were 1 in 20 which is not even close; and I am quite sure this was not “just chance” or “my bad luck”. This promotion has been going down hill for years now. The restrictions on items has grown to exclude all but the most profitable on the menu as the actual winning pieces have been continually reduced. I remember the first MacDonald’s collectable piece game back in ’78 or ’79 so I have been watching it for some time. I don’t care what kind of promotion you run, just be honest about the odds. You don’t want this to turn into yet another iconic MacDonald’s slur like “McJob”, “Super Size Me”, or the toy promo and dirty play area issues in Calf.

  14. Matt says:

This website is full of LIES! How do I know? I’m eating McDonalds I didn’t even want with NO Monopoly pieces!

  15. mell says:

yayy i got a vacation and other cool prizes im so happy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. abin says:

Hey anybody got #946 for a million prize I have #945 with me..we can share the prize 😀
