Though, as a chilehead, I have no hope this will be anything resembling hot, I’ll definitely be trying this. Their regular chicken sandwich isn’t bad, but is definitely too bland (in both heat and spice) for my tastes.

Chick-fil-A offers packs of Texas Pete which go perfect with their sandwiches. Mix it with a little ketchup and you are good to go.

        Ketchup on chicken? gross…

        • Raiders757 says:

No, ketchup with Texas Pete. Yum!! There is a difference. It’s more of a hot sauce if mixed properly. The ketchup is just to help it stick better. Also, with Chick-fil-A’s recipe, ketchup works well. They marinade in pickle juice and use powdered sugar in their crust. For some reason it all comes together nicely.

A lot of people put mayo on chicken, which isn’t just gross, it’s disgusting, so don’t knock ketchup if your one of those unoriginal people. If I ever see someone disgrace a Chic-fil-A sandwich with mayo in front of me, I will spit on their food and get ready to defend myself.

Ketchup (sweet) +Fried Chicken (fatty, salty) makes perfect sense. I don’t even bother with any other condiment.

          • Zachary Jacob Zblewski says:

I like honey mustard on my chicken.

            Or Sriracha.

We don’t have Chick-fil-A around here, so I have no idea what their food is like or what would go good on it.

  3. I had only had it frozen and driven to me in bundles O_o Still, it was pretty spicy and keeps well in the freezer. Frozen Chick-fil-A is better than driving 40 mins to the nearest one!

Reserve a sandwich, huh? Maybe I should dig my suit out for this one.

i’ve always wondered why this wasn’t listed on their nutrition facts online… i didn’t realize it wasn’t released everywhere. we have had it for quite some time at our chickfila in california and it is SO good. it is the juiciest chicken breast ever. but i have to ask for no butter on the bread… it just makes the bread soggy and adds calories.

When I eat a chicken sandwich, I mix mayo with Daves Insanity Sauce and it’s amazing! Im not a Ketchup fan. I’m also not a Chick Fil A fan. Their chicken makes me gag for some reason!? Something in the batter has a weird twang that is so nasty to me. Love the company and what they stand for, but they can keep their chicken.
