Food News: Spicy Chicken Coming to Breakfast at Chick-fil-A?

Everyone by now knows all about the Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Chick-fil-A.  But what about spicy chicken for breakfast?  Chick-fil-A President Dan T. Cathy (@dancathy) recently tweeted in response to a Spicy Chicken Biscuit for breakfast question…

6/21/10 10:34 AM We are cooking up something Spicy for breakfast too! RT @bradhuss: @dancathy is the @chickfila #spicy offered as a breakfast biscuit?

So what do you think?  A lot of people already think chicken for breakfast is wacky, but how about spicy chicken? Personally I usually have trouble choosing anything but Chick-n-Mini’s for CFA breakfast… they are just too delicious.  If there was a spicy version of them I’d probably pass.  So anyway, we’ll keep an eye out on any test markets offering spicy chicken for breakfast so stay with us. 🙂

You should burn in hell for talking about Chick-fil-A all the time. jk
Here in Michigan, we don’t have Chick-Fil-A, El Pollo Loco, In n Out, Pinks, Pinkberry, Fatburger and so on and so on. We only got Sonic last year. I have to drive almost 2 hours just to get Five Guys.
Please use your power to get us some or all of these restaurants.
    Eating here sucks.

    Thank you.

Haha I’ll do what I can. I’m a Lions and Wings fan so I have some love for Michigan. I’ll have to look after Michigan for future grub spots. 😀 I know you guys must have Little Caesar’s on every street corner right?

      • J.B. says:

Not really, but they are around.
If you like cheap, stale crappy pizza then Little Caesars is the place for you.
        I personally prefer Papa Johns.

Alaska doesn’t have Chick-fil-A either. I’m definitely planning on eating CFA multiple times when I visit Georgia in August. I miss it.

You probably could order a spicy biscuit already, it’ll just take a while longer…but it’s Chick-fil-A and making the customer happy is number one in general for them, so I’m sure they’ll do it.

You should be happy your not surrounded by fast food chains. Maybe you’ve got loads of independent places to grub on?

    • J.B. says:

Oh no, I am surrounded by crappy fast food chains, the usual, McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King although for some reason we don’t have White Castle in my town.
Then we have the usual chains like Applebees, TGIF and Outback.
It is very hard to find anything cultural and independent like Thai or Indian food or Caribbean.
You really have to hop in the car and drive to Chicago if you want a variety of food, and good food.
It is beyond sad here if you actually enjoy eating.

  4. We don’t have Chick-fil-A here either in Canada, only place that sells biscuits even is Popeye’s

  5. Tony jaguar says:

    You have my sympathies.

  6. Long says:

Hey, if people can have chorizo for breakfast, why not spicy chicken?

  7. Ian says:

Chik-fil-A rules man…you should come out to NE Ohio area and review Hamburger Station…basically White Castle on steroids x2 the grease!

  8. SkippyMom says:

The breakfast chicken sandwiches are the ONLY thing I can eat at chik-fil-a – it is the only thing on the menu that is low enough in sodium. So I say – YES! ChiKen for breakfast rocks. 🙂

  9. Jessica Leigh says:

I LOVE their Chicken Minis already, and they would be great as spicy sandwiches! The mini yeast rolls are to die for!

  10. […] through the 2011 Chick-fil-A calendar, I came across evidence of the long-rumored “Spicy Chicken for Breakfast”.  The January 2011 coupon offers up a Chick-fil-A Spicy Chicken Biscuit.  I’ll probably […]
