Food News: New! Steakhouse Onion Rings from Arby’s

For a limited time, Arby’s is offering Steakhouse Onion Rings.  Hopefully these onion rings make me forget about the Steakhouse Sub.

Battered and fried to golden perfection, Arby’s Steakhouse Onion Rings are what onion rings are supposed to taste like.

I can’t wait to try these!

  2. Sara says:

Those appear very similar to Dairy Queen’s Onion Rings.

I was just going to leave a comment today about how come you did not mention these were available.
    You read my mind.

I LOVE Arbys! They have the best jalapeno poppers & the “berry” sauce is delicious! I can’t wait to try these!

I had these a couple months back, unless these are some even newer onion rings. Nice try, Arby’s–onion rings aren’t supposed to taste salty as HELL.

  6. If they are the same as the last “limited release”, these are unequivocally the best side at any fast food chain. don’t understand why they didn’t add them full time.

  7. Bill says:

I had some today-definitely not “the best side at any chain”.The casing part is pretty good, maybe a little too sweet. The onion part is slimy and pretty much tasteless. The biggest problem is the same problem with all low-quality onion rings. You take one bite and the whole piece of onion comes out, leaving you with a handful of “casing”.
Good onion rings don’t do this.I’m told its more of a problem with cooking technique than with ingredient quality, but I can’t swear to that.I note that I dont have this problem with Hardee’s or Popeye’s onion rings.

I just had some of these fresh out of the fryer, and I thought they were amazing for fast food onion rings. Delicious!

if you want a good fast food onion ring, go to culvers! theyre the best, especially with a side of ranch!

  10. Breneh says:

The first time I tried these, they were amazing. The 2nd time, not so much. They need to be very crispy and hot from the fryer. Otherwise, they are a massive fail.
