Food News: New! Arby’s Chocolate Turnover

I love me some Arby’s, and I love me some dollar menus. So what’s not to like about the latest edition to the Arby’s value menu? I’ve yet to try it, but Arby’s has recently come out with a new limited-time only value menu item, the Chocolate Turnover.

Curve your unstoppable chocolate craving with a tasty treat filled with a rich chocolate filling made with Hershey’s cocoa and chocolate icing – all surrounded by a light, flaky pastry.

Sounds good. Anyone else tried it yet? Arby’s also passed out coupons at my school this week, and is advertising “new” onion rings. I smell a trip on my end within the next week.

My Arby’s in Central Illinois has had this item for a few years. The chocolate turnover is very good as long as it is served warm.

My Arby’s has had this for a while now. They are really good, but sometimes there isn’t enough filling. Also, they are the best when they are fresh, so make sure you ask for a fresh one!

They had these a couple of years ago and they are yummy!!!! I was really disappointed when they took them off the menu. Glad to see them back, and as someone mentioned already…….they are the best when they are fresh!!! 🙂

The chocolate turnover is surprisingly delightful! Pastry is crisp and flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. I could do with a little less flakyness to make it a bit less messy to eat, but its so delicious its hard to complain. There is plenty of warm, gooey chocolate on the inside, though its not always evenly distributed. My suggestion for eating it is to cut it down the middle and dip the edges into the chocolate that pours out so you have the perfect amount of chocolate in every bite.

This isn’t a new item at all. It’s been out a long time now.

I just had this for the first time today and it is to die for!!!! Mine was fresh out of the oven and it was the very best pastry I’ve ever had. Flaky and buttery outside and warm gooey bittersweet chocolate filling with a noticable touch of salt that really complements the sweet and buttery flavors. Soooooo good I could order a box tonught

These are actually just Pepperidge Farm Turnovers. So if you can find a grocery store that sells them, you can have a lot more, for a cheaper price.

It’s simply the best thing I have ever tasted and it only costs $1!!!
