New at Wendy’s… a burger with BBQ sauce so you know it grabbed my attention.  Oh and yeah it’s 14 syllables deep.  Introducing the BBQ Bacon Double Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe.  Available as part of the $2.99 Deluxe Value Meals.

Hot n’ juicy fresh, never frozen North American beef* topped with Applewood Smoked Bacon, fresh onions, pickles and a rich Hickory BBQ Sauce. Did we mention American cheese?

I think Wendy’s are my least favorite of all ff burgers. The patties are so dry and meh. I love their chicken sandwiches..but I doubt I’ll try this burger.

  2. m says:

yes … i counted the syllables. Trusting you on the spelling of that tho ….

  3. Jessica J says:

Now, this is more like it! I would try this, although I think I probably would like it better without the bbq sauce. This is a great value!

  4. I am wondering what kind of bbq sauce they are using on it, it has potential with the right sauce…

  5. Mikey says:

I had it the other day. Pretty good, especially for the price. Doesn’t come close to Rally’d BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger though. too bad our Rallys shut down!

  6. Peter says:

Sliced pickles do not belong on BBQ sandwiches.

Also the new 1/4 pound patties from Wendy’s have a smaller surface area, but are thicker instead. Now a Double tastes juicy and meaty!

  7. Marc says:

Its really always bugged me, that Wendys refuses to EVER toast their buns.

    • Jessica J says:

I agree that toasted buns would make their burger DELICIOUS! My boyfriend used to work at Wendy’s (back when we were in high school and just friends) and he always toasted my buns. That sounds dirty, but I don’t mean it that way 🙂

  8. Bob Smith says:

I like the idea, but Wendys always undercooks its bacon and getting them to recook it to crispy is an aggravating exercise.

They’ve been test-marketing this in my area for the past few months. Combine this with a 99 cent order of Spicy Chicken Nuggets and you’ve got an awesome full meal for 4 bucks.

I’m glad I decided to go to Wendy’s today and try this delicious sandwhich. I used to not be a big fan of Wendy’s patties, but as I get older I’ve started appreciating the fact that their burgers taste more homemade and not nearly as greasy as other fast food restaurants. Back to this sandwhich though, the barbeque is very, very, VERY tasty, and all the toppings minus the pickles make for a srumptious filling burger. Add fries and drink for .99 and you cannot beat that. A good meal for 2.99 is a steal, especially for a burger that tastes this good. Go get one now!!!!! I promise you won’t regret it, especially if your a bbq lover!!!!!
