GrubGrade Poll: Tortilla Chips, Anyone?

Loyal GrubGrade readers are by now familiar with Herr’s Potato Chip company. Based out of Nottingham, Pennsylvania, Herr’s has been dishing out all kinds of awesome potato chips since the company’s founding in 1946. We here at GrubGrade are big fans on their regular potato chips, but the folks at Herr’s recently asked our help in identifying consumer trends for Tortilla Chips.

So we want to know. What kind of Tortilla chips do you prefer? Baked? Extra-salty? Organic? Blue Corn, Yellow Corn, or Multigrain? Or maybe your a ‘Doritos’ type person? No problem, we want to know!

To help us helps Herrs design a better chip, please vote in our poll. But don’t feel limited to the constraints of an online poll, as we want to here your thoughts on what makes the perfect chip.     I love Herrs chips but Tostito’s white corn restaurant style and dippers are much better for tortilla chips.

    I think the salsa is almost if not more important than the chip. You need a good combo of each…anything with a southwest-y corn/black bean type of salsa I’m usually all-in for. I chose the boring old yellow corn chip…I’d like to choose the multigrain but I haven’t come across a really good one yet.

    I love the standard yellow or white corn chips. I’ve never been a fan of any of the other varieties.

    We only eat the white corn tortilla chips – they are awesome in our nachos. I have a problem eating blue anything 😛 Do love Herrs tho’
