Grub Battle Royal Final Voting

Dum-dee-dum-dum……..

Well folks we’ve now got ourselves a list of the best foods and eateries from around this beautiful nation nominated & voted on my you, our wonderful readers. You can see the results from each region if you’d like (South, Central, West & Northeast).

Nows all we gotta do is decide which one is the best of the best! You’ll notice that a few categories have only three choices, that’s merely because some have won for multiple regions.

Grub Battle Royal MapI would suggest lobbying for your particular favorite in the comments…..and just because you live in a certain region does not necessarily mean that you’ve got the best place 😛 I’ve included links to all choices so that you can do your due research. This should be a battle of taste & quality not geographical boundaries. Let the voting begin!

    I would love to see a lot of votes for Roy Rogers. I love RR and I think we live near one of the last remaining ones in our part of VA [thank goodness :)] They have absolutely my fav’ fries and I love the fixings bar. YAY RR!

  2. Yum Yucky says:

    Whew, that voting was tough, but for me, Chick-fil-A comes out on top in any category.

  3. DJ Dedd says:

    I haven’t really been following this, and I’m guessing this has come up before, but calling Chipotle Mexican is an insult to the cuisine and Mexicans everywhere (I haven’t been to the other two, so I can’t comment on them). Having said that… – Go Portillo’s!!

  4. Jon says:

    @DJ Dedd. What’s more Mexican than burritos?

  5. Hell ya Josie! Go Chick!

  6. Shawn says:

    Sorry In-N-Out– Five Guys is taking you DOWN! Your best fries are basically equivalent to the hypothetical reject pile of five guys fries — too bad five guys has never made an imperfect fry, so this comparison could never even happen.

  7. Ken says:

    What an interesting dissection of American cuisine. Hard to argue against In-N-Out Burger and Chick-fil-A. And it’s incredulous that Chipotle somehow weaseled its way into the finals.

    @Jon Funny!

    How about Cheeburger Cheeburger for best burger joint? I have NEVER had a better burger anywhere else — Not even the burgers I make myself. That being said, I’d like to vote for roy’s as best fast food, and Wegman’s as best grocery store (have you ever been to one? They are CRAZY good!)
