Season’s Eatings: Great Harvest Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread
Dining Hall Pumpkin Pie? Tempting, but no thanks. I’ll stick to the best tasting quick bread the world has ever seen. That’s right. As in EVER.
Longtime readers know that I’m a Great Harvest junkie, but I find it harder to get out to my local bakery these days because of the high price of their breads and my otherwise set meal-plan. Still, nothing does a body or soul better on a cool November morning than a thick slice of one of the Great Harvest’s GINORMOUS free samples of a bread of your choice. While I usually stick to their savory breads, I couldn’t say no to this slice of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread. Moist, sweet, and brimming with thick, semi-melted chocolate chips, it made the perfect “guilty pleasure” breakfast after a morning walk through the streets of Logan.
