Who Is Man Enough to Face Bear?

Want to see Silber Son on TV?  Bear Silber and Pizza Party need your help.  A challenge has been made to Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (Food Network) and Adam Richman of Man v. Food (The Travel Channel) to face off against Bear in The Belly Buster Challenge.  Guy and Adam have yet to accept the challenge.  Let’s help spread the word and see if we can make this happen.

Email sent to Guy. Let’s make this happen, yo.

  2. Thanks Ryan!!! Thanks Adam!!! If they come out you HAVE come too! Let’s do this 😛

  3. Adam says:

I don’t see why Guy wouldn’t come. Ain’t Santa Clara in his backyard?

  4. It’s pretty close…he’s in Santa Rosa…it’s about 2 hours drive north of me. He obviously shoots all over the place though.

    Come on Guy….bring it!!!

  5. He will be called “Girl Fieri” after you are done with him Bear!

One thing you have to realize is that every town in america has a Pizza place with a huge pizza challenge. We have at least 2 in my small Indiana city. I’m sure he get challenges like this everyday… Don’t mean to sound like a dick or anything, but just being real.

True. But if eating legend Joey Chestnutt stood up to the Belly Buster Challenge, the place should get a higher priority I think.

  7. Both valid points. I’m just trying….there’s never any harm in that 🙂

  8. Adam says:

Not every place has a Pizza cam or the same kind of exposure as Bear though. This ain’t no mom and pop one-at-a-timing pizza experience. This is mass communicating! Saturate Guy with enough emails and he’s gonna have to pay attention. Besides, as much as I love his show it seems like the Diners he goes to all blur together eventually. What you should do, Bear, is to tell him that if he beats you in the challange than he can invent a Pizza bareing his namesake that you guys have to sell.

  9. @Adam – You’re spot on 😛

    Did you see this?
I’m like “Gary I DO have that!!!!”. I sent him an email telling him so…maybe you should too (garyv@winelibrary.com).

I would totally be up for that (but I must say…he won’t beat me), I’d put more on the line. Not sure what else I can do to get his attention….what do you think?

  10. Adam says:

You should go to one of his places (Tex Wasabi’s?) and call him out.

  11. You know….that’s not a bad idea. If I don’t get anything from all of this I certainly will.

Be warned — the Guy on-camera has nothing to do with the Guy off-camera. When he was here in Austin to film his spots, he was very nice and jovial to the staffs during filming. Once the camera was off, the staff was instructed to leave him alone and he spent the majority of the shoot out talking on his cellphone. He has no interest in being nice to the staffs of these places if it’s not being filmed. NOT a nice man at all.

Do you really want to be involved with a jerk like that? Ask around — I am sure you will hear similar stories.

  13. Adam says:

If it means being on TV I would…

  14. Yeah….I think I could put up with some “celeb” ‘tude (if he in fact has it) for a day. He seems like an alright guy though.
