What exactly is in the Texican Whopper?

So hopefully we are all passed the controversial Burger King ad for the Texican Whopper.  The commercial, featuring a Texan and a little Mexican, was pulled by the way.  From what I know, this Whopper is only available in the UK right now.  There has been a lot of questions regarding what exactly is in this Whopper.  Well, here you go:

Say ‘howdy’ to the Texican WHOPPER®.  Inspired by the land where a man ‘aint afraid to sink his teeth into something hot and spicy: 100% flame-grilled WHOPPER® topped with delicious taco coated chilli con carne, spicy jalapeňos, onion, crispy lettuce and Cajun mayonnaise, in a sesame seed bun

  1. 997 calories!!!! At 30 chews a minute one would have to chew gum for 3 days straight, without sleep, to burn that off 😛

Shoot. That’s like 9.97 100 calorie packs. I wonder which would taste better.

  3. Ryan says:

    Yeah…and only 525 tic tacs.

  4. It actually sounds pretty good though?!

It’s also sold in Spain and Germany, according to their websites. But it seems that in Spain it’s also with tomatoes.

Oh man…I wonder if that’s the same mayonnaise that was on the Indy Whopper? I thin, that was cajun mayo. That stuff was killer.

If they had to pull the commercial, I can’t wait until women’s groups get a hold of the tag line…apparently only a man can eat this sandwich. Not that I would have tried it at 1,000 calories…

I’m not sure about having taco flavoring on a Whopper….there’s a growing sense of dread inside me over this. I just don’t see it working.
