Taco Bell’s Volcano Menu Expands on August 2nd, Volcano Crunchwrap?

Volcano Crunchwrap via TacoBell Canada

Warm soft flour tortilla, seasoned rice, seasoned ground beef, spicy Inferno Sauce™, warm nacho cheese sauce, crunchy tostada shell, hot jalapeño peppers, cool sour cream, crunchy red strips.

This is the description of the Canadian Taco Bell version of the Volcano Crunchwrap.  Yeah it’s already available in Canada.  Interesting they call their Lava Sauce, “Inferno Sauce”.  Anyways, August 2nd marks the date for the next Volcano menu item from Taco Bell here in America and my money is on the Volcano Crunchwrap.  It’s been tested in certain markets and people like it…it’s coming nationwide.  Only a matter of time.  Followed by Volcano Nachos I believe…

  1. Altougth you could always order a Crunchwrap with Lava sauce I’m still looking forward to whatever they’re releasing on Aug 2nd!

    A volcano version might actually reel me in. I tried a Crunchwrap once, and I didn’t like it. The volcano sauce just might do the trick… I wish I could get my hands on a big bottle of that stuff!

  3. Justin says:

    I wish KFC would bring the Wrapstar from Canada and Europe. It’s like the Crunchwrap at Taco Bell, but it has the chicken tenders, cheese, salsa, lettuce, tomato and pepper ranch sauce. It sounds like it would be a real winner here!

  4. @Adam Bomb – Waaaaaahhhhh!?! How can you not like the Crunchwrap? That thing is amazing!

    @Justin – Damn, that’s sounds awesome!

    Damn I was just in Canada and I knew nothing of that, however those damn Canadians got me hooked on Fanta and Crush Cream soda, moving back to the TB…just order the sauce on the side, and they will also put it in pretty much anything on their menu if you ask

  8. Adam Bomb says:

    Sorry, Bear! I guess I’m the odd man out with the Crunchwraps. Everyone I know likes them, but they just don’t do it for me.

  9. Hey there. My name is Hessie Jones and I work with Taco Bell in Canada. It’s nice to see that the Crunch Wrap is soon coming southward. We launched it in late June and it’s by far my favourite of the Volcano Menu items. Let us know what you think. We are on Twitter @TacoBellCanada. Thanks for posting.

  12. IBeAnonymous says:

    Sorry to burst your bubble, the new Taco Bell Item, which goes live on July 31st is the new Volcano Nachos.

    I work for taco bell and we have already gotten our training material for this and trained our crews. No word on the Crunchwrap though.

    Ok. So i was reading this article the other day, and i had to try the whole crunchwrap with volcano sauce thing. Pretty good. I thing that jalepeno sauce tastes great on it! And if you want to try lava sauce on something, try it on the cheasy double beef burrito.
