Food News: New Biscuit Sandwiches at Dunkin’ Donuts

There’s something new for breakfast over at Dunkin’.  Dunkin’ Donuts is introducing new Biscuit Sandwiches.  Including scrambled egg, savory sausage and cheese on their new flaky biscuit  (Note: Bacon or Ham also available).  Kind of strange that Dunkin’ now goes the super traditional route after the Waffle Breakfast Sandwich.  It seems like every restaurant that serves breakfast has some sort of biscuit sandwich.  The Sausage, Egg and Cheese on a Biscuit shown below will cost you 600 calories and 40 grams of fat. Anyone know the price?  I can’t seem to find it anywhere and the Dunkin people just told me prices vary.  No price range…thanks!

Wow! Awesome! Dunkin is serving a new “biscuit” sandwich. When I think biscuits, I think Dunkin. I mean, who wouldn’t. These people definitely know biscuits. And when I think of super dust-dry donuts I think of Dunkin. I can’t wait for Dunkin Pizza and Dunkin Dogs. The crappy, awful possibilties are endless!

Here in the Pittsburgh metro the biscuits are priced at 99c with the purchase of a beverage.

We must be a test market or something, DD has had those forever here. Probably the worst biscuit I’ve ever had.

In South Florida, DD is also running the 99 cent sausage biscuit with a beverage purchase deal. A slice of cheese was an extra quarter. It was pretty good, even if the biscuit bottom fell apart on me.

600 calories for a breakfast sandwich? No thanks! I did try the flatbread, egg white sandwich when it came out and it was terrible. I can’t imagine this could possibly be food enough to waste the calories. They are also .99 in NJ with purchase of a drink but it’s just sausage and biscuit. Also, is it our local Dunkins or is their coffee normally fairly weak?

Looks like multi-cultural hockey pucks stacked on top of each other.
