Dairy Queen Blizzard of the Month for August 2009: Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard

July is winding down and there is still time to get your Tagalongs Peanut Butter Patties Blizzard.  A favorite of many is right around the corner with the Blizzard of the Month for August 2009: The Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard.  This Blizzard is a mix of Thin Mint cookie pieces, soft serve ice cream and a Crème de Menthe topping.  Prices vary by location but you’re looking at around $2.85 for a small, $3.35 for a medium and $3.85 for the large.

*Nutrition-wise…a small will run you 540 calories, 18 grams of fat and 67 grams of sugar.  A large will cost you around 1080 calories, 38 grams of fat and 126 grams of sugar.  Go for it!!! 😀

    I love blizzards but there is a major inconsistancy in condemint ammounts at different DQ locations. Flavors are night n day between Hamilton, IL and Carthage, IL. As to which location is better, to each their own.

    Haven’t tried the tagalong blizzard yet. But the THIN MINT IS MY FAVORITE BLIZZARD OF ALL TIME!!!! I love it so much and every time I go to dairy queen I get a large thin mint to make up for lost time since its only a 1 month thing 🙁 I wish they’d make it a full time blizzard because its the best I’ve ever tasted. N its sooo refreshing there’s not anything more like it. I luvvv it!
