These look really good. Trying tomorrow!

  3. BigBelly says:

The egg and cheese roller sounds good, the epic one weighs 17ozs, not the way I want to start my day

  4. Joe K. says:

Looks good but Whataburger has had their Taquito’s for some time now.

Tried two of the Chorizo Breakfast Rollers this morning. NOT good. The chorizo was over-cooked and not at all juicy or flavorful. Even for a $1, there are better options for breakfast: McDonald’s sausage burrito or Taco Bell’s grilled sausage burrito. Skip this guy.

Just another sneaky way of repackaging existing menu items and justifying another price increase. Egg and cheese roller is the old breakfast burrito which was less than a dollar. Watch the dollar iced tea disappear soon, it’s coming…

Ever since the Chicago company bought dt a couple years ago, prices have gone up multiple times, longtime cheaper menu items are disappearing in exchange for $5 profit monsters ala platos and epic burritos. (…remember salsa Verde nachos for a dollar anyone? I sure do ) and the overall California feel that generations were raised on is being bastardized in the name of greedy corporate suits. Those 4 for $4 combos everyone else has are pretty attractive, I’m just saying.

Salsa verde nachos was my favorite. Too bad they took it off the menu. They introduced the fresca bowls at $4. It is gone up to $5 now 🙁
