Church’s Brings Back Smokehouse Chicken

Church’s Chicken introduced Smokehouse Chicken last summer and now it’s back for another seasonal run.  Smokehouse Chicken features a half-chicken portion with no batter or breading and a hickory smoke and spice rub applied directly to the skin.  This entree is priced starting at $3.99 and served with a Honey-Butter Biscuit.  Available at participating Church’s Chicken locations through July, while supplies last.

I’ve always found Popeye’s fried chicken (and of course their cajun gravy) to be better, and with their weekly deals a lot cheaper, than Church’s (or KFC) … but man nobody’s biscuits are as tasty as Church’s honey glazed ones that’s for sure.

Sometimes I go to Church’s just to get some of their biscuits. I’ve tried replicating them at home but they’re just not the same.
