Turkey Sliders from White Castle are Back with a Couple of New Options

The new seasonal menu has hit White Castle and it is headlined by the return of Turkey Sliders with some new flavors. Turkey Sliders feature all-natural white meat Butterball turkey burger and you can choose them topped with either slow-cookies apple butter, tangy bistro sauce (returning from last year), or spicy Dusseldorf mustard.  Each Turkey Slider is priced at 99 cents.White Castle Turkey SlidersTo accompany the Turkey Sliders, White Castle has a couple of side items available for a limited time only: Loaded Sweet Potato Fries and Loaded Fried Green Beans.  Loaded Sweet Potato Fries are drizzled with syrup, marshmallow creme and topped with cinnamon praline pecans.  Loaded Fried Green Beans are topped with gravy and crispy onions.White Castle Loaded Sweet Potato Fries

They all sound weird but knowing WC, I bet these are at least tasty. Too bad we don’t have any White Castle here in Maryland.

I hate to nitpick, but I gotta say… “slow-cookies apple butter” has to be one of the best typos I’ve ever seen. 🙂

Good job by WC continually differentiating themselves from other fast food joints. On a somewhat related note – last Thanksgiving I made the recipe for White Castle stuffing (chopped up sliders, patties and all, prepared like you would any stuffing with added onions and celery, broth)… that was a big nope because it just tasted like you would think – soggy burgers. But hell it was a memorable attempt at bringing something unexpected to the holiday relative round-up!
