New Sonic Master Blast Desserts

There’s a new premium version the Sonic Blast dessert at Sonic Drive-In.  Sonic calls them Sonic Master Blasts and there are six to choose from…  Turtle Pecan, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Banana Split, Triple Chocolate, Pineapple Upside Down and Caramel Brownie. These desserts are permanent additions to the menu.  Also Congrats to NamebranD, comment #58 on winning the $20 Sonic gift card… will you be trying all six?.  Email me with your info for your prize.  grubgrade at gmail dot com.

Sonic Master Blast

Each Master Blast is prepared with Real Ice Cream layered with a choice of six masterfully hand-mixed options. The Triple Chocolate Master Blast or Turtle Pecan Master Blast – including caramel, chocolate and pecans – were crafted with chocoholics in mind. For those craving fruit flavors, the Banana Split Master Blast or Pineapple Upside Down Master Blast offer real fruit blended in a creamy form. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Master Blast and Caramel Brownie Master Blast perfectly duplicate the deliciousness of bakery treats à la mode.

SONIC’s Master Blasts go above and beyond to deliver the rich, creamy sweetness unavailable in other soft serve or store-bought, hard-frozen ice cream pints. With hand-mixed Real Ice Cream and mouth-watering candy additions, taste buds in drive-ins across the country will be delightfully surprised at the complex, gourmet flavors, made fresh and delivered right to their cars.

Like every SONIC menu item, Master Blasts are available all day. Get them while they’re cold.

I’d love to try them but regular blasts are $3 to over $4 here. Since these are ” premium” the Sonics here will probably have the gall to try and charge $5 or more.

  2. Bob says:

Not that great. Tried turtle blast and hardly any pecan in the ice cream.

WHOA! Just noticed I won that gift card. I’ll be emailing you shortly. Thanks GG!

  4. DuhMe says:

Was there the other day and they are indeed about $4.75 here not including tax.

Just tried the Pineapple Upside Down and while I usually love Sonic, this was just awful. Did not detect any pineapple at all and the “pie pieces” were noticeably artificial and hard. Tasted more like butterscotch or off-caramel than anything. What an utter $4.44 disappointment!
