To Celebrate New Super Crunch Chicken Strips I’ve Got a $25 Sonic Gift Card Up for Grabs

Super Crunch Chicken Strips are the latest promo item at Sonic.  Super Crunch Chicken Strips are all white-meat chicken strips double-breaded to add an extra crispy crunch and they are available at any time of the day in three-piece or five-piece sizes.

Super Crunch Chicken SonicYou could get a nice half dozen orders with a $25.00 Sonic gift card, but I’d still be curious as to how you’d spend $25.00 at Sonic.  Leave a comment with your $25.00 Sonic order and teach me a thing or two about gluttony.  I’ll leave a comment on this post when the winner has been chosen.  Good luck!

gluttony is an order of chili cheese tots, onion rings and popcorn chicken. Oh and a cherry limeade. Eat your heart out Ronald McDonald.

  2. jenne says:

My 25 dollar order would include chicken strips, chili cheese tots, a bacon peanut butter shake, a cranberry/apple slush, a plain footlong, and a toaster cheeseburger.

  3. TJ says:

I like Sonic’s for the same reason that I like Jack in the Box (Jack in the Crack as us West coast folks say)… They have a very diverse menu. It’s available all day, not 24/7 in my experience but at least you can get whatever you want while it’s open. If I had 25 bucks to blow at Sonic’s I would probably get a bunch of stuff all across the board.. some breakfast items, a fancy hot dog, tons of sides, and probably no burgers.. they’re not bad but it just seems like a poor choice for fast food when i can get that any day, anywhere. Cheers to whomever wins!

  4. Dante says:

Id order a large chili cheese tots with onions, cherry limeade, oreo sonic blast, sonic cheese burger, and did i mention more tots?

  5. Eem85 says:

Breakfast burrito, cheesy tots, pretzel hot dogs, limeade

  6. BigBelly says:

this would be fun, only been to sonic once, it was 1300 miles away… food was cold when I got home :)~ LOL fortunately, I think they built one closer now
a couple chili cheese coneys, onion rings, ched r peppers, and a chocolate covered banana shake sounds pretty good

  7. Nicki says:

Sonic means 2 things: Rt. 44 Diet Coke Add Vanilla and Tots

  8. Allen says:

Two breakfast toasters, two Sonic double cheeseburgers, one crispy chicken sandwich and a large order of tots. I’d probably combine those items all into one abomination of a sandwich and slather the thing with salt and honey mustard sauce. And I’d probably dip that thing into my Route 44 cherry limeade once or twice, too.

    Afterward? IV of Pepto-Bismol.

  9. Darrell Martinsen says:

A breakfast burrito, a sausage egg and cheese toaster sandwich, 2 footlong chili cheese coneys and a Sonic Blast made with Reese’s peanut butter cups!

  10. MR. Gnarly says:

I would take my sons and pig out on chicken strips, hot dogs, tator tots, shakes.

  11. Leon says:

Large popcorn chicken combo, upgrade to chili cheese tots, route 44 the drink to cherry limeaide. Large onion rings also sound pretty good. Why not get a caramel shake as well. Maybe some sweet potato tots too if they still have some.

  12. Nichol Perez says:

I recently had a birthday and went to Sonic which has been a dream of mine and fell in love with the chili cheese tots , and cherry limeade. I would also try the super crunch chicken strips.

  13. Josh Beste says:

Definitely the Chicken strips, some chili cheese fries, and a watermelon coke.

  14. Matthew says:

Ohh man! Gluttony is easy for Sonic!!! Chili cheese tots, Mozzarella sticks with marinara AND ranch, footlong coney, & a peanut butter chocolate milkshake to top things off.. If that all fits on a $25 gift card!

  15. Mike says:

I would get a triple bacon cheeseburger with mayo and no onions or pickles, a cheesy bacon pretzel dog, a corn dog, some ched ‘r’ peppers, and a shake I’ve ordered before that combines fudge, caramel, peanut butter, malt, cookie bits, and two shots of espresso.

  16. Freddie Cinquina jr. says:

would go to TOWN on sonic burritos and cherry limeade combos!

  17. kevin says:

chili cheese coney, chocolate shake, fries, and a double cheeseburger

  18. Chad B. says:

Chicken strips, jalapeno poppers, chili cheese fries, and choc banana shake. Please pick me!

  19. Matthew C says:

With 25.00 Id paint the town (or at least the sonic) I’d get the biggest size shake possible! with Some CHEESEcake bites (ive never tried them, but i need to) I’d see if they still have those hot dogs with the pretzel bun(I havnt tasted one since the pretzel bun craze started) some Sweet Potato tots (CAUSE I LOVE SWEET POTATO’S) then i’d get something for my mom cause she does so much for me! :)

  20. John says:

    Simple. 5 chicago dogs!!!

  21. Stephen Z. says:

Tots, chicken strips, breakfast burrito…and a giant peanut butter shake!

  22. Eagles409 says:

I would just start at the top of the menu and order 1 of each until I hit the $25 mark. That should provide a nice variety.

  23. Sam says:

A couple pretzel dogs, chili cheese tots and of course a cherry limeade slush!

  24. Cory says:

I would need to try the new chicken of course. A peanut butter milkshake is a must have. Pretzel dog and cheesy tots would be the perfect compliment

  25. Robert says:

I could do this with ease. Some of those loaded breakfast burritos, one each of those dogs, plus a foot long chilies cheese dog, some of those jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks. Toss in some chicken strips, onion rings, and chilie cheese tots and round it out with giant Vanilla Dr Pepper. Then go home and die a happy death.

  26. Mike N. says:

Those strips sound good, especially in the dinner with tots and toast. Throw in a SuperSonic double bacon cheeseburger too!

  27. Lily Sheng says:

Don’t they have 25 different shake flavors? My goal is to try them all given how much I loved the Peanut Butter Bacon Shake.

  28. whitney says:

I would try a shake in every flavor and maybe some tator tots.

  29. Mike S. says:

Wow, considering a Sonic just opened up down the road from my work and I have never been… this is such a coincidence. I think I bring a co-worker and would just start ordering like crazy and watching the total go up to my $25. This way I could try as much as I wanted the first time courtesy of GG.

  30. Katie W. says:

This is a tough one. Really they are two options:

    - Do I blow it all in one sitting? If so, I’d hit on tots, onion rings, ice cream, a Sonic blast (a few flavors and I’d have the money, so why not?), pretzel dog, breakfast stuff, the chicken strips, limeades, limeades galore. A lot of sides with greasy deliciousness and cheesy stuff.
    - Or I could ration the money, and buy something nearly once a day as a treat? I’m thinking a half priced shake (if the promo is still happening) every day until the money runs out.

    I heart Sonic.

  31. Raiders757 says:

I would probably spend that twenty five dollars across three trips trying out different items each time. That or get twenty five dollars worth of milkshakes and drink them until puke.

  32. Jeff says:

Pretzel dog, bacon double cheeseburger, onion rings, and a rt 44 cherry vanilla dr. pepper.

  33. Eric says:

Food for my roommates and I while watching football Sunday: 3 Cheesy Bacon Pretzel Dogs, 2 orders of Super Crunch Chicken Strips, 1 Chicago dog for myself, and then the rest on tots/chili cheese tots.

  34. Ryan says:

I would get some of those chicken strips, burger, a sundae and a grape slush. I don’t know what my mom would get but I would definitely take her if I won a card.

  35. Anne Sutton says:

Well my $25 would NOT include the chicken. Have you seen this??? http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-204_162-57606118/report-chicken-nuggets-not-just-meat-but-blood-vessels-nerve-cells/
However, while sooo many people out there claim to be “lactose intolerant,” I consider myself “lactose enthusiastic” I would have to go on an ice cream binge at Sonic. I would treat myself and my kids to Sonic’s new shakes….peanut butter fudge being my favorite. And, although it sounds strange, I love a shake with breakfast food. So I would order 4 shakes and four of the breakfast sandwiches on Texas Toast. The thick bread is so buttery and yummy!

    • BigBelly says:

lol, ya, I read that, and I think it’s kinda what everyone knew (or speculated, but didn’t want to admit to themselves)
But I also think there’s a big difference between a nugget, and a strip… I can tell you it’ll be a very very long time before I order a nugget again though

  36. Dana B says:

Gluttony is a sin and hunger won’t let you win! So let’s keep it that way, ha ha!

We just got a Sonic where I live about a year or two ago, but my family and I never got the chance to go there and savor the drive-in fare.
I’m not sure what the prices are, but I hope a $25 gift card could get us a double bacon cheeseburger, cheesy bacon pretzel dog, Chicago dog, the super crunch chicken strips, some tots and onion rings, an Oreo cheesecake shake, and of course, a diet cherry limeade(gotta watch my girlish figure after all).

  37. Eva says:

This would probably need to be multiple trips for me. I’d try these new chicken strips but it would be tbd if it is these or the popcorn chicken on the next trip. Need an Oreo blast to wash it down and maybe some tots to balance the meal out

  38. John says:

    Breakfast Burritos
    Tots
    French Toast Sticks
    Banana Splits
    chicken strips
    onion rings

    Good eatin’!

  39. Beez says:

Bring on the grease! You can’t help it when Sonic’s involved- start off with a breakfast burrito, transition into a toaster burger with chedd’r’ bites, a popcorn chicken third meal, and wash it down with your poison of choice. Mine happens to be strawberry limeade (with extra strawberries). If you can handle it (that is, if you live on the YOLO side of life), it’s time for a sundae.

  40. Matt says:

ohh my $25 order would be super crunch chicken strips, cheesey pretzel dog, cheesey tots, fried pickles, and a big peanut butter cookie milkshake
    mmm sounds so good !

  41. Kenneth says:

Chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, a pretzel dog or two, a Mocha Java Chiller, a Peanut Butter Fudge milkshake and, if I have anything left, give it to my friend.

  42. Adam Prytyskach says:

    SLUSHIES!! LOTS OF SLUSHIES

  43. Chris says:

Simple, 24 Corn Dogs during Happy Hour and a large diet soda, ’cause I want to lose weight! :)

  44. Kee says:

I’d go with a mix of our required three meals a day! Breakfast would be a bacon Toaster sandwich, hashbrowns, Javachiller. Wash it down with a Grape slush, a cheesy bacon hot dog, and popcorn chicken. Top it off with a bacon cheeseburger toaster, onion rings, mozzarella cheese sticks, and a large peanut butter & bacon shake! Maybe go back for a grape slush!!

  45. Matt says:

    $25 + Half Price Shakes = 10,625 delicious calories

  46. Adam says:

Two bacon, egg and cheese toaster sandwiches. Two burgers which will I discard the bun and place between the toaster sandwiches. Route 44 vanilla coke, side of fries and a banana cream pie shake to top it off.

  47. VanessaB says:

I love Sunday! I would get 2 breakfast burrito, sweet potato tots, chicken fingers, a diet cherry limes with extra cherries, a peanut butter milkshake…. I’d get it on my long run day so I could run all of it off, haha. Hope I win!!

  48. Matt says:

Route 44 cherry limeade, breakfast burrito, tots….and why not, try the chicken strips

  49. Linny says:

    I love their Reese’s blasts.

  50. Jerry says:

First of all I would get a route 44 cherry limeade, bacon breakfast burrito, chicken strip dinner (idk if that’s only here in OK) tatlor tots, mozzarella sticks, and a banana split!

  51. CB says:

I had one of their chicken strip sandwiches the other day and it tasted the same to me. Unless they don’t use the super ones for this? $25 would be enough for an entire day! 2 Sausage burritos, large tots, medium oj, Jr double cheese burger, 2 Bacon cheese pretzel dogs (no onions), super crunch chicken strip meal, 2 jr chili cheese frito burritos, and a route 44 cherry lime aid!

  52. Curtis says:

My order consists of a Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster, Super Crunch Chicken Strips, large fry, and a cherry limeade.

  55. Mikey says:

All on 25 dollars on chicken strips. And then, I’d slowly work through them on football Sunday while dipping them in my tears as I watch my team’s hopes and dreams fade away. But, I’d still have chicken.

  56. Peter says:

While they don’t have them nationwide, there is a burger only as Sonic’s in Louisiana called either the Ragin’ Cajun Burger near the Lafayette are or the Saint’s burger everywhere else. It’s got spicy mayo, a slice of pepper jack cheese and stamped with an edible logo and comes with a little packet of seasoning. I would buy as many of those as I could get.

  57. Roderick says:

This should be fun..Id go with a Supersonic Bacon Cheeseburger, a 5piece super-crunch chicken strips, an order of mozz sticks, a large chili cheese tater tot, jalapeno poppers, a large orego sonic blast, and a routee 44 cherry limeade. I’ve been addicted to Sonic’s cheddar peppers lately (they’re not spicy enough for me, but hot sauce fixes that) so a couple of orders of those would definitely be involved… would probably spend the rest of it on shakes (pineapple is my favorite… I also like the hot fudge, if we’re going for supreme gluttony… also strawberry and banana). If there was any money left over after THAT… I would try the french toast sticks, or maybe a couple of slushes or creamslushes. Darn it, now I am hungry.

Cherry Slush, Peanut Butter Fudge Shake, Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster, and all the Chili Cheese tots I could buy.

  136. Devin says:

With $25 to spend at Sonic, I’d probably finally try one of those Pretzel Bun Hot Dogs, try these new Super Crunch Chicken Strips, grab some Cheesecake Bites (the biggest order they have), and wash it all down with a Peanut Butter Fudge Shake.

  137. Tom Carson says:

I would go there on a Tuesday, so I could get the 5 for $5.95 sonic burgers. Also add 2 large fries, 2 route 44 iced teas, some chicken strips, a grilled chicken sandwich, and two shakes of some sort. :)

  138. Icedus says:

As many people as can fit in my car get Jr. Deluxe Cheeseburgers. All of them. All of the Jr. Deluxe Cheeseburgers.

  139. Peyton says:

I would get chicken strip dinner with honey mustard, large chili cheese tots, rt 44 strawberry lemonade slush. Jalapeno bacon cheeseburger, more tots, strawberry pineapple banana shake, and banana split.

  140. JF says:

I’ve had their chicken strip meal before. Pretty good and a nice amount of food. I would try these. I would also probably get a few of their cheesy bacon pretzel dogs. Only had it once, but thought it was very good. Really liked the bun, but I wish they’d grill the dogs vs. broiling them (never been a fan of broiled dogs). And would also take advantage of their happy hours as their slushes are pretty good as well.

I used to like their bacon cheeseburger toaster, but it always seems to be real soggy that the bread almost falls apart and just has a wet (broiled) taste.

  141. Mama June says:

I would get bacon and cheese pretzel dogs, the new chicken strips, lotss of tots with cheese, large strawberry shake, foot long coney with onions, caramel java chiller, snickers blast, and plenty of peppermints because I’m pretty sure I’m going to need it

  142. B. L. says:

I’ve been wanting to try these, so I would definitely use the card on the new strips. Or one of those delicious pretzel dogs!

  143. Lena says:

As many tater tots, double-bacon-cheeseburgers, and slushes as I could afford, for sure.

  144. Shannon says:

Okay, my awesome order would be 3 cherry limeades, 3 corn dogs, 2 orders of tator tots, 1 order of onion rings, Oreo cheesecake shake, and cheesecake bites

  145. horton says:

get some hot dogs along with jalapeno poppers and a milkshake. perhaps a burger and tots too. ice cream for life

  146. Elizabeth says:

I’d try the new strips, get a side of cheesy tots, mozz sticks, and a vanilla shake! Yum

  147. Carissa says:

Cheeseburgers, fries, tater tots, chicken strips and milkshakes.
