    I don’t remember the commercial, but I DO remember those prices! $.59, $.79, and $.99!!!!! Those days are unfortunately long gone. A regular taco is $1.19 now. While you still mostly get a pretty good bang for your buck at The Bell, it certainly isn’t as good as it used to be. Thank you ethanol for raising corn and beef and produce prices!

      Taco Bell is not nearly as gross as it used to be. They had such a simple menu back then, but the quality was not there. Not that it is now, but you know what you’re getting. The only thing I REALLY miss are the 99 cent Santa Fe gorditas. Holy crap.

    20 years ago, we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, Steve Jobs and green onions. Now we have no cash, no hope, no jobs, and no green onions.

    I do remember the commercials. I was flabbergasted. Being a rebel is cool until you need money from the Man. Never had Taco Bell in those days because it appeared cheap & crummy.
