I’d rather them bring back the Kickin’ Coney, that thing was yummy. Footlong form I’d be at sonic right now.
A foot-long Chicago dog just seems wrong to me somehow, sort of like those foot-long burgers that Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr. came out with a while back. Part of it is, I think, the discrete appearance of the ingredients: seeing all those tomato slices, serrano peppers, and pickle spears stretching out in a row… it ruins whatever strange jumbled elegance a Chicago dog has!
I’d like to try them all but the windy city one. I’ve never been to Chicago but feel I would hate it based upon all of their food styles. I hate their hot dogs and deep dish pizzas. I also don’t like any of their sports teams.
I thought they were quiches not pizzas!

I’ve enjoyed them all in their smaller 6″ size. Not sure if I’m up to handling 12″ but I can’t wait to try.
