Off topic but did you see Burger King admitted to using horse meat in their burgers in the UK? WTF.
That’s actually not what happened. BK’s meat supplier from Poland put the horse meat into the burgers. That same meat was also sold at grocery stores and other restaurants. I personally don’t see what the big deal is. It’s not like people have never eaten horses before. I take a horse meat burger with quality produce over the garbage BK sells us here.
Seriously, I would take horse meat over whatever mystery meat BK and McD uses these days.
Keeping off the subject, it does make a difference if horse meat is being used. It is a matter of disclosure…you can’t say that your burgers are fire-grilled beef and it have horse meat in it. Compare it to saying something is Kosher but it has shellfish or pork in it.
I can’t stand their lack of hygiene at these places. The guy who just handled the cash register has no business slipping on the gloves W/O using the hand washing station FIRST and making my sandwich. That’s just unacceptable.
