New at Burger King: Avocado and Swiss Whopper

Another Whopper joins other newcomers to the Burger King menu in the form of a familiar taste.  The Avocado & Swiss Whopper looks strangely familiar to the California Whopper.  The full Avocado & Swiss Whopper nutrition-wise goes something like this… 730 calories, 39 grams of fat, 1510 milligrams of sodium, 38 grams of protein.  Also available in Whopper Jr. size.Avocado Swiss WhopperThe BK description of the “new” Avocado & Swiss Whopper:  “Our new Avocado and Swiss WHOPPER® Sandwich is ¼ lb* of savory fire-grilled beef, topped with naturally smoked thick-cut bacon, melted Swiss cheese, a creamy avocado spread, freshly cut iceberg lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a zesty avocado aioli, all on a warm, toasted, sesame seed bun.   1. This looks somewhat disgusting. Avocado sauce on grilled chicken might work, but on a burger I am skeptical.

      Actually avocado is amazing on burgers, although I’ve never had it on a fast food burger, just homemade ones so it may taste different with BK

    The Whopper is so sad and thin anymore, than I wonder how one will taste the burger patty with anything more than cheese added to it.

    @Raiders757 – The Whopper is a mere shell of it’s former self. Burger king fell off hard and is relying on this and other gimmicks instead of doing fundamental stuff like making a better burger, using fresher ingrediants, and fixing their fries.

    Wow, that sounds digusting, even beyond my normal dislike of avocado and guac. Didn’t they already have a “california” whopper or something with guac not too long ago? Might’ve been interesting if they paired the swiss with tried and true mushrooms.
