Red Robin Introduces Sam Adams Octoberfest Milkshake with Return of Oktoberfest Burger
To go along with the return of the Oktoberfest Burger at Red Robin, a few other newcomers are worth mentioning including a beer milkshake. Take a look:
Oktoberfest Burger: Fire-grilled beef, melted Swiss cheese, beer mustard sautéed onions, beer mustard and black forest ham on a toasted pretzel bun.

Samuel Adams Octoberfest Milkshake: Our blend of creamy soft serve, Samuel Adams® Octoberfest draft, vanilla and gooey caramel will make a believer out of you.
Warm Pretzel Bites: Like edible umlauts. Served with Merkts® beer cheese dip & tangy beer mustard
New Pub Crawl Style: A pub-inspired combo of Wisconsin’s famous Merkts® beer cheese spread, beer mustard onions and bacon.

Question…that Samuel Adams milkshake…is obviously alcoholic, right?
Yes, it is alcoholic. There is beer in it. However, I wouldn’t guess there to be much more than 2-3% alcohol in the milkshake. So, the equivalent to a light beer.
Any calorie info?
Looks like I’m gonna need 2 trips. Gotta have that Oktoberfest Burger and pretzel bites. And that pub crawl style sounds like it might be good as well.
A better taste for the milkshake would have been Sam Adams’ Harvest Pumpkin Ale. Has more spice, and would just be tastier as a milkshake. Just an opinion.

Has anybody tried the new Pub Crawl Style burger?
The Octoberfest burger is super good. I was worried it would be too mustardy, but it was not. Fairly subtle, considering it had a lot going on. The pretzel bun is awesome, and you can apparently upgrade any burger to that bun for 50 cents.
