Site looks fine. Don’t do an unnecessary overhaul, I beg you. Sites that do that ALWAYS end up looking crappier. It ain’t broke, so don’t fix it.

I agree with ratbuddy. I like the simplicity of the layout of the site as is.

      My unsolicited suggestions for change:
      1. More polls, like the one you had with guac vs. salsa. Those are fun.
      2. Communal reviews: I always thought it might be cool to announce when you are going to be reviewing something, such that people can try the product before the actual review is posted. For example, something like “We’ll be reviewing Chik Fil A’s chicken tortilla soup on January 5th, so if you want to discuss it, try it before then.” That way, you would get more timely discussion and debate of the product itself from people who have actually eaten the product.
      3. More cowbell.

Good suggestions. The goal with any potential site changes would be to keep the simple layout, but have some areas cleaned up and more organized. I’ve never been happy with the look of the site, yet I know my focus has never really been on aesthetics when it comes to that. I want the site updated regularly and hopefully decent enough content to keep the readers coming back.

I don’t really like when my favorite blogs get too complicated and busy. I’m a fan of simple and my vision is to keep it simple.

Furthermore, I’ve been talking about these “changes” for 2 years now and I haven’t implemented any yet so we’ll see what happens. But fear not, no major changes planned, just hopefully some improvements here and there. :)

The only change I would dig would be if our comments were posted instantly instead of the site having to be updated. GG has a super strong community and making discussions and debates easier and faster would be the bee’s knees. Plus if you needed mods, I’m sure there are a couple writers for the site who wouldn’t mind. Just an idea =)

I could turn off moderation right now if I wanted to. Unfortunately, some comments require my moderation because of attacks, profanity, racial slurs etc. Sad that some people don’t know how to be decent.
