Giveaway: New Philadelphia Cooking Creme: Want To Give It a Try?
I’m far from a cook… but I’d actually attempt this. Cooking with new Philadelphia Cooking Creme doesn’t seem too tough for a lazy kitchen person like myself. The guy in the video seems to have convinced me. These new cooking cremes come in flavors of Italian Herb and Cheese, Savory Garlic, Santa Fe and Original.
Want a free coupon to try it for free? You know the drill, leave your comments on this post letting me know what creation you’ll be coming up with and what flavor creme you’ll be using. I’ll pick some winners when the magic number of responses, that only I know, has been hit. Good luck! ![]()

how bout a nice shrimp alfredo?
Well, I just started getting into fish, so maybe a salmon dish with some sort of savory garlic cream sauce over veggies!!
santa fe flavor….to make some enchilada soup! perfect weather for it too =)
I would use the Italian Herb or Garlic with chicken as well as with broccoli.
I’d try the Santa Fe and make a nice spicy grilled Hangar steak sliced over creamy noodles and roasted peppers!
Use the original flavor and add chocolate or fruit and sweetener to make a sort of cheesecake-like pudding dessert.
I’d make some type of pasta sauce with the Italian Cheese and Herb, sure maybe not very originial but sounds like it could be really good.
The savory garlic would be good with some boneless, skinless chicken and some assorted veggies.
I am making ravioli! WOOT! I didn’t even know this existed – thanks!
Now I have to go find some.
I would definitely be using it for some type of alfredo (the forbidden sauce). Maybe with some chicken and mushrooms.
PS
They don’t have any recipes on their website. No worries – I will make up my own.
And I liked the salmon idea.
Savory Garlic to make a spicy garlic chicken casserole
Santa Fe, spicy Italian Sausage, and shrimp for a shortcut Pasta Diavolo
I’m Italian, and my grandparents make a dish called Stromboli – its like a rolled sandwich/pizza with meats and cheese. Being a vegetarian, I would sub eggplant and other veggies for the meat, and use the Italian herb and cheese to finish it.
The Italian Herb and Cheese, and Savory Garlic would work great on some toasted Italian bread w/bruschetta.
Mix the Sante Fe with some fresh salsa for a richer queso dip, and serve with quesadillas (or maybe just tortilla chips, could be too rich).
I would use the italian herb and cheese one and maybe make some pasta and maybe try to make like a fondue for some bread with the rest of the cooking creme.
What? Cook for myself instead of letting some large fast-food conglomerate make (usually) delicious cheap stuff for me to eat? Hmmm…. That means I would actually have to go to the grocery store and pick up things, like salt. Do they still have grocery stores? Do they still sell salt?
How about Philidelphia original cooking creme stuffed French Toast, with powdered sugar on top and fancy sliced strawberries?
I’d use the Savory Garlic and mix with grilled chicken and linguine and maybe throw in some grilled mixed veggies too.
That Santa Fe one is going to make for a great, different take on tacos. Can’t wait to try it!
I think the savory garlic would be great over chicken with a slice of french bread.
Well since I live in the Northwoods of Wisconsin I would like to try and make a venison and pasta dish with the savory garlic sauce
I want to try the Savory Garlic flavor with either chicken breasts or ground beef and pasta.
I would try to make some Chicken Enchilladas… “since I LOVE Mexican food”
Boring, but good: roasted potato with fried bacon and sauteed cabbage, topped with that wonderful creme!
Ummm… Uhhh… WTF is cooking cream? Is it like oily cream cheese flavored liquid? Since you can already cook with cream and cream cheese aren’t they also cooking cream? Once again, WTF is cooking cream?
I’d have to use the Savory Garlic variety and experiment on some creamy garlic pasta with mushrooms and fresh grated mozzarella cheese. *yummy noises*
Probably the first thing I’d try is use it stuffed inside of a burger patty prior to cooking. Put a teaspoon of the Santa Fe in with some slices of marinated roasted pepper deep inside a third pound patty of ground beef, then slap it on the grill…
I think the correct answer is something from Arby’s, but I’ll take a stab at something else: Original Cooking Creme and and dried beef for a gourmet shit on a shingle. Delicioso!
I would use the Italian Cheese and Herb flavor as a mix-in with some pasta and meatballs. Kind of like an Italian stroganoff.
I’d probably just log into my Kraft First Taste account and get the free “cooking creme” (no idea what that is even after looking it up) coupon myself.
Santa Fe with browned chorizo (mexican) and red potatoes. Should make a great taco.
Italian Herb and Cheese to make a homemade pasta primavera
Definitely the Italian cheese and herb flavor with some chicken and pasta … maybe the kiddos will even eat it?
If you bestow me with a much desired coupon for free creme I will be grabbing a container of the Savory Garlic. From there I will grind up some lamb leg meat with a bit of pork fatback and fresh herbs I will freeze the creme and use a melon baller to make little balls of creme then enrobe those with the lamb/herb mixture. The balls will then be egg washed, breadcrumbed and deep fried. That will make for one yummy treat!
I think that these cooking creams would be a great addition to breakfast just as much as dinner. Why not make a quiche with eggs, fresh vegetables, basil and cooking cream to give it a bit more substance/body.
I’d probably end up making a recipe passed down in the family, a really yummy chicken alfredo pasta. Normally, I make it with cream and cream cheese, but maybe this will make it better? Hope so!
i’d probably use the italian herb or savory garlic to stuff pasta with or make a creamy sauce to put over chicken. possibly into an omelette if i had the santa fe one. i’d definately want to try using this if i had a coupon for it.
I would stuff some chicken with this and use it for the pasta sauce, and have a great meal. flavor some bacon with it and wrap it around the chicken
wow, maybe something hard but also might be good with a potato- but lazy lasagne looks good too
Italian herb to make a nice alfredo!
I’d like to try the garlic or italian as a substitute for ricotta in lasagna. mrs. burgerdogboy makes a mean lasagna!
definitely would make a creamy pasta dish with this!
1st to this site and I love it!! I would use this for a Pasta, chicken cordon bleu.
I’d use all of them! BUT I would first try the Santa Fe and make garlic lime chicken with a nice Santa Fe cream sauce….maybe it could turn out like Applebees Fiesta Lime Chicken! YUMMM!
I’m useing the Garlic cream with boneless chicken breast ,fresh broccoli, zuchine, yellow scaush, red onion all julliand and saute’
Santa fe flavor, definitely, for some cheesy enchilada chicken!
Salmon with spinach garlic cooking cream and low carb pasta. YUM!
I am using the garlic adding parm cheese and using as a base for chicken alfredo pizza… then going to use plain with white chocolate and lime zest to make a fondue, dip pound cake.
All of these recipes sounds good. I will try all flavors. I will try the Itailian Herb first with saute chicken, red and yellow peppers and a little shallots and then add a little cooking sherry and have linguine pasta. That sounds good to me and add a little spice to it. Can’t wait to buy it.
