GG Contest: Obey The Egg and a Red Robin Gift Card Giveaway
I’ve only recently indulged in a cheeseburger with a fried egg. I have yet to try the Red Robin version dubbed the “Royal Red Robin Burger”. Have you? Why pass up a burger with a fried egg, 3 strips of hickory-smoked bacon, American cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo?
Well Red Robin is currently promoting this delicious beast and is holding a “Obey The Egg” contest where you could win a lot of free grub. Here’s how the contest works:
- Upload a photo of yourself “obeying the egg.”
- Enhance your image with “royal” icons.
- The contest ends on Feb. 13, 2011.
- Photos will be judged on creativity, Red Robin flair, and how well you “obey the egg.”
- Three winners will receive 12 Red Robin gift cards valued at $30 each.
And I know it’s not $360 worth… but how about $15? Wanna try the Royal Burger on the house? Leave a comment on this post with how you’d spend a $15.00 gift card at Red Robin. I’ll pick a winner once the magic number of comments has been reached. Good luck!

I’d take out my best friend and we would enjoy a couple of Bonzai Burgers.
A “Fruity Boozie Daiquiri®” for me and a friend.
Um…fried eggs on burgers are AMAZING(ly…bad for you)…but at that point it doesn’t matter…I’d like to give that a go
I’d eat there for the first time
I’d purchase a Teriyaki Chicken Burger… Always a Hawaiian at heart I guess!
I haven’t been to Red Robin in close to 2 years! If I remember correctly, they had some sort of a bleu cheese burger so I’d probably get that as well as the most quench-thirsting drink on the menu. I’ll hold off on the fried egg burger for now, I’ll wait for the review!
Wellll….chili cheese fries! Freckled strawberry leomonade abd the pulled pork burger… Dont worry ill pick up the balance and leave a good tip!
I am known as the burger man to my friends and relitives since I order them anywhere I can. I love red robin! I’d get the Derwood kirby burger and a 5 dollar shake…. oh wait a sec spaced out there. I would get a double burger with bacon (must have the bacon) those endless fries and a vanilla shake. Any left over would go for a sundae for sure
I’d probably get the Ensenada Chicken™ Platter. I just saw it in their menu and thought it sounded decent.
I’d get the royal red robin burger and some spinach artichoke dip. I’ll probably die of a massive heart attac but that’s ok cause i’ll die fat, happy, and well fed.
I would definitely have the Royal Red Robin Burger and a bowl of clam chowder.
I’d bow down and obey my food highness, Ryan. After thanking his royalty, and my expedition to a the NewBurgerLand, rumored full of Red Robins. I would gather my men to find the new land, and proclaim it in the name of Grubgrade!
Once finding the natives, they sense that I look for heat and burn, in this empty, cold land! They offer me a Burger, such a fine creation that I love. Burnin’Love, they call it. It must be some kind of rare delicacy meat, native to this area. I must find out more about it, and report it to the two kings of my country, Adam and Ryan, and their sweet queen, Heather.
The natives, showing their generosity to the newcomer, which to now cool me down, with their aid, this sweet tangy nectar of lemons, made for the gods, this Lemon-aid!
If not relieved enough, yet, my men have discover some gaping structure yonder, what is it? ‘Tis a mountain; but, no! I look up closer, it looks of brown, white, and red. Given our famish on the way to NewBurgerLand, we still desire more. And, so we eat. But, my, oh my! This is no mountain, high as it may be, deceive me will it try- this is a giant mudpie!
This is an incredible place! I shall inviteth all of the fantastic land of Grubgrade to come to this amazing land, of bountiful and plentiful food, where none shall go hungry ever again!
We just got a Red Robin about twenty miles away and I’d take my boyfriend!
I’d buy all of the Very Berry Raspberry Limeade I could get, and leave a nice tip.
I would get an A1 Peppercorn Burger and a Freckled Lemonade. Bottemless fries and beverage and I’m set.
Thanks!
I would get a Banzai burger and deep fried jalapenos
I would get the burger you posted, the Royal Red Robin Burger (minus tomatos), along with an ice cold glass of beer, most likely Windmer Hefe. This has been my go-to meal at Red Robin for the past 10years. My birthday is on the February 6th so this would make an excellent birthday meal!
Since moving, it’s not as easy to get to a Red Robin…so when I do go, I’d take a friend out for a tower of rings and shakes as a nostalgic treat!
I would enjoy myself a Burnin’ Love Burger and a great big, cold, creamy Chocolate Shake to wash it down!
Well I’ll enjoy the Royal Red Robin burger of course. The have good onion rings too!
Thanks!
a bonzai burger and tower of onion rings!
Oh God I am in love.
I must try this burger.
I hate that I have to drive out of town to get decent food whether it be Five Guys or Red Robin.
I would buy two of these burgers, one for me and one for my brother of course.
Red Robin truly is YUM.
Natural burger and dessert obvi
I haven’t eaten there in a long time, but a bacon egg cheeseburger sounds delicious.
If I won I’d definately spend it on trying that burger
tower of onion rings
Definitely the Banzai burger is (was, before I learned about my gluten intolerance) my favorite from Red Robin, but a fried egg on a burger? OH man. That is how I love my burgers.
Too bad they had to muck it up with American cheese… (now, a fried egg and brie? Oh my gosh.)
My soulmate and I would enjoy something with pineapple as well as a tower of onion rings. She would want to eat all the baby ones, so I would have to wait until I could eat the large ones at the bottom
Of course she would be all cute and nibble the baby rings as slowly as possible.
I’d definitely get the A1 peppercorn burger and splurge even more with a milkshake or onion rings…the sauce they serve with them is the best!
Part of the reason I go to Red Robin, and any other burger place is the fries, but Red Robin’s are unlimited. I like that. I’d probably get a Royal Burger and splurge on a nice drink to celebrate…
I would buy a few of there burgers. I love egg on my sandwich!
If they still have the Sicilian Burger, I’d get as many of those as I can. (One?)
I would eat there for the first time! Maybe even get one of those ‘egg’ burgers! =D
My personal favorite is the Natural Burger… gotta keep it simple!
I’d get the Monster Burger. Basically a double cheeseburger, but HUGE. Good stuff.
I actually love their SOOUUUUP
Chicken Tortilla to start off with and finish it off with a Royal Red Robin Burger!
mmmmmmmmmm
I’d also eat there for the first time. But the Banzai Burger looks interesting.
I would try the egg burger. I haven’t been there in a while and I’ve always been a little scared to try it. But if it is free, what do I have to lose?
Chicken fingers with honey mustard sauce and bottomless fries. Yummm
I would get the Royal Red Robin of course. The egg is so awesome on it!
Always wanted to try that whiskey river burger, mmmm! Love to get that and split some onion rings with my dad!
I would treat the family for our first visit to Red Robin. From looking at the menu I’m sure most of my family would order the Burnin’ Love Burgers with the bottomless Steak fries. I have a feeling after our first visit we would be regulars!!
I’d take one of my really good friends she loves burgers. As for myself I might go for the A.1. Peppercorn Burger. That burger just rocks!
Banzai Burger for myself, Regular Cheeseburger sans pickle relish for the wife.
I LOVE RED ROBIN
I love RR! I would take my boyfriend out because he’s strangely enough never been there! I’d have to decide between the Banzai and the peppercorn a1 burger, whatever that one is called. Or just impulsively choose something! I’ve never had a bad burger there!
I have a red robin in town here, only been there twice>>>very bad service…Great food though. I think I could try it again, go haphazard and throw a dart at the menu .. see what happens!
MUSHROOM AND SWISS BURGERRRRR
There clam chowder is also amazing.
I would like to try RR. I’m tried of eating Chinese food
If I win, I will go to Red Robin for my birthday on Friday. I’ve never been!! I looked at the menu online and will enoy the Sauteed Shroom burger with a mound of fries. Then I’ll buy myself one of their desserts and make my friend sing Happy Birthday!
I’d go for some chicken strips, bottomless fries, and freckled lemonade… RED ROBIN…. yummmm.
I’d get my Shroom burger that’s $10 then I’d ask them to if they could make me a half shroom burger for $5.
I’d take my boy there, definitely order this royal egg burger and eat an obscene amount of bottomless fries!
Whiskey River Barbeque Chicken Burger and a Mai Tai… I always feel so silly with the tiki glass, but the drink is delicious! Or maybe instead of the Mai Tai I’ll order an onion ring tower for my boyfriend and I to split.
I would take my mom out to dinner!
Elizabeth
I’d beg them to make the green chile cheeseburger that isn’t on the menu anymore. If not that, the burnin’ love.
I have never been there but their menu has lots of stuff I would try.
I’d take the 30 minute drive to the nearest Red Robin and feast on the delish Unlimited Fries. I would also get the Original Gourment Cheeseburger w/ Cheddar, make it a Monster and ENJOY.
royal red robin burger and a cold beer….
Lots and lots of garlic parmesean steak fries…
I would buy a sauteed shroom burger just like I did the other night however this time I would right my wrong by getting onion rings instead of fries
I would totally get the california chicken burger. My absolute fave. I have recently began an illicet love affair with avacado and indulge in my forbidden fruit whenever possible. Since this “burger” contains avacado and my other mister-ess(I’m a lady, lol)bacon I’d imagine I’d be on a highway to hell with all the sinnin i’ll be doin. But boy is it worth it! Oh and ranch and hone mustard fur dippin!
I would go there for the first time and get the onion ring tower – it looks awesome!
Turn it into the Valentine’s Day meal
Eggs make everything better, especially a burger! Pair an egg-topped burger with their fries and a chocolate milkshake, and there’s $15 well spent.
I would take my dad for his birthday!
The best part of a Red Robin burger is the endless fries, like magic wrapped in fairy dust.
I’d go with a California chicken sandwich and half-a-tower of onion rings.
I would give it to my dad.
I would take my 4 year old son there for the first time and definitely try that egg burger!
