Food News: New Fresh Wraps from Wendy’s
The current “Go Wraps” at Wendy’s are pretty decent, but it’s time for an upgrade. Wendy’s should be rolling out New Fresh Wraps sometime this year after being available in test markets, and by appearances, they look similar to the great “Cool Wraps” available at Chick-fil-A (read our review). Your two choices of wrap are the Baja Chicken Fresh Wrap and the Smokehouse BBQ Fresh Wrap.
- Baja Chicken Fresh Wrap: Lightly breaded all white-meat chicken breast, pico de gallo, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, seven kinds of lettuce, cilantro lime sauce, salsa tortilla.
- Smokehouse BBQ Fresh Wrap: Tender all white-meat chicken breast, Applewood Smoked Bacon, crispy onion straws, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, ranch and honey BBQ sauces, Monterey Jack tortilla
I’m actually kind of excited about this. I lived on Wendy’s veggie pitas in high school. I wish they’d bring those back, but this will do I suppose.

4They both are too busy for me – they have too much going on – SEVEN kinds of lettuce? Why?

5I actually love the flavor combination of ranch and bbq. I don’t see the need for 7 lettuces, though.

12Yawn. This is just SO boring. Honestly. Why can’t they vary their choices a bit? I mean, I can think of about 500+ other restaurants that serve Baja Chicken and Smokehouse BBQ wraps. Just because you’re a fast food chain doesn’t mean you can’t have a bit of creativity!

15these sound good to me. wish they would bring back the 4 alarm spicy chicken sandwich first tho, that was the bees knees
16The Smokehouse BBQ one looks pretty amazing, I would get it, but I’d also ask for no ranch, or onion straws.
The Baja doesn’t really appeal to me
17They need to bring back the overstuffed pitas, those were delicious. We’ll have to see about these.
18They don’t have them here yet, they look interesting. I just wish they’d bring back Monterrey Ranch Chicken.

Too bad they won’t use spinach instead. They had this spinach salad a few years ago that rocked! Can’t remember the name but it had chopped egg on it.
19these don’t sound terrible. just sad that they won’t bring back the chicken Caesar pita that they had when i was in elementry school. that was yummy and i still morn the day it was taken off the menu.
