They only had Shanghai Shrimp where I went. They let me get it instead. They are such kind folks at Panda Express.

5If you want authentic Chinese food, you don’t eat at Panda Express. What you do is find a local Chinese mom & pop restaurant/buffet and patronize that.
6I saw the coupon on this site and, since I’m watching calories, went to the Panda Express website and checked the calories (370). Then I printed it out, walked into Panda and gave them the coupon and walked out with the goods (no purchase necessary)
For fast food Chinese, it was very good. Sweet and the shrimp seemed relatively fresh. I could easily see getting this with some Orange Chicken the next time I feel like quick Chinese. Thanks for the post.

It’s always surprising to hear what sorts of junk Chinese food people think are the best. I’m always like, go to this place, you’ll spend the same amount of money and it’s 10 billion times better.
8The obesity epidemic… is a result of poor educational choices, poor habits, and poor.. well being poor.
Ever go to a grocery store and compare the prices of processed, sweet, salty junk vs healthy fresh fruits/vegetables/high protein foods?
Much of the Grubgrade food is “junk food”but can be enjoyed in moderation… say what the head honcho here does for reviews once in a while.

And besides, did you not understand the subtle implication in my last post that “can’t we just appreciate food and live life” is exactly what I am basically saying? (Just do not overindulge)
Besides, if you are so critical of ABC Chinese food, then how does that fit under “appreciate food?”
Moreover, a car hitting you and one’s waistline are not correlated at all..
I am not attacking you and I am not “trolling.” I agree with your sentiment of enjoy food. But please, think twice before posting in the future based on raw emotion over logic and reason.
11I went over to Panda Express on my way home and got the free shrimp, pretty tasty. Then my wife, who didnt want any, smells it and suddenly has a hankering for Chinese and I wound up picking some up at a local place, which happened to have a giant drum behind the counter that said nothing but “MSG” with some Chinese characters under it.

This dish is really common in a lot of chinese places, but I’m not sure if panda express would do it as good as the restaurants do.
14It’s not as good as most Chinese food places.. but its like a fast foodish Panda Express version of it. Worth a try if you ever go there.
15I knew there was something to it. I saw it in Ruby Thai, a chain restaurant similar to Panda Express that’s also in malls, just a few days before this promotion. I thought either Ruby Thai had some serious espionage going on or something. I didn’t realize a lot of Chinese places had this dish.
I haven’t seen it where I’m from.
16It’s very common. I’ve had this dish b4 many times before. This isn’t anything new at all.
Ruby Thai shouldn’t be stealing chinese dishes, they should stick with Thai.
