Food News: New Boneless Filet From KFC
KFC has a new product simply called the “Boneless Filet”. Seems like a reasonable item for grubbing on the go as it comes in a “fry-like” sleeve. KFC is claiming “Our Biggest, Meatiest, Juiciest Piece of Boneless Chicken Ever!” There is a new combo box also which is dubbed the “Boneless Filet Box” and it’s $5.00.
What are we, cavemen? Put that thing on a bun!

9My question is…what cut of meat is it? I would assume breast, by the looks of it, but it bothers me that it’s called ‘boneless filet/piece.’ Makes me think it is just their leftover ground up chicken bits (not worth $5).

13No, it’s all white meat, I’m pretty sure it’s just a small cut of a boneless, skinless breast that they put their breading on. It comes in grilled too, which I imagine is even more dried than the original recipe.
14That’s just a chicken sandwich without the bun, WTF? Bring back Chicken Littles and we’ll talk.
15@LW: It’s a normal cut of boneless chicken breast either grilled or breaded. It’d be nicer if you could just buy it by itself for $2.

18I loved the Chicken Littles as a kid. I don’t eat at KFC anymore because everything is overpriced. I go to Church’s Chicken, they have deals during the week and the chicken is tasty and moist.
19i want to know the nutrition facts. i can’t believe they don’t have it listed on their site, i thought that was required by law…? that combo box sure could use something green in it. but that’s kfc for ya!
20I’ll have to second what Bunny said. I hardly ever go to KFC anymore. Costs too much for what you get. KFC has gone way down hill over the past two decades as well.
Oh, and yes, bring back the Chicken Littles.

If this Boneless Filet is anything in flavor like KFC’s chicken nuggets that are discontinued and sorely missed, I will like it. Probably not, though.
22My husband got one and said it is very thin and isn’t very big. Not worth the price!
23I have had two from two different locations. I think it is perfect for on the go. The Filet was juicy and tasted just like the O.R. Breast without the bone! The price was perfect! I want to try the grilled one next!
