Food News: Dairy Queen Blizzard of the Month for March, The Mint Oreo Blizzard

No surprise here but the Mint Oreo Blizzard will be featured as the “Dairy Queen Blizzard of the Month” for March 2009.

Available at all Dairy Queen and DQ Grill & Chill® locations nationwide throughout March, Mint Oreo is a flavorful mix of Crème de Menthe topping, Oreo cookies and creamy DQ soft serve. The average retail price of the Mint Oreo Blizzard is $3.09 for the 12 oz., $3.49 for the 16 oz. and $3.99 for the 21 oz. Many Blizzard flavors can be made into delicious cakes, perfect for celebrating special occasions such as St. Patrick’s Day, early spring picnics and birthdays.  The average price of a Blizzard cake is $21.49 for the eight-inch and $23.69 for the 12-inch.

    Funnily enough my daughter made milkshakes last night [chocolate] and since I am on bed rest she put a bunch of oreos in mine [fav' cookie] but it was chocolate oreo.

    I think hubby needs to go to the store. Mint chocolate chip ice cream is calling my name [No, we DON'T have a DQ anywhere near us. It is sacrilege I tell you, SACRILEGE!]

    This is BS make something new and interesting or bring back the cotton candy blizzard !!!! Jeez this Is worse when they were like oh midnite truffle Now let’s just add raspberry flavor to it and now it’s a whole new blizzard! Lazy punks

  4. I will be reviewing this Mint Oreo Blizzard tonight during my live show live at a DQ Grill and Chill. Hope to see whether this is just ordinary or ,maybe something better.
