Food News: Cheesy Gordita Crunch from Taco Bell Is Back on November 12

November 10, 2009 By: Ryan Category: Food News

I’ve had about enough of the Black Jack Taco.  It’s time to revisit a favorite of mine.  This Thursday, November 12th, marks the return of the Cheesy Gordita Crunch from Taco Bell.

Warm pillowy flatbread covered in three melted cheeses, wrapped around a Crunchy Taco and topped with a zesty pepperjack sauce.

A tasty 520 calories and 31 grams of fat for under $2.00.  How much under $2.00 you ask?  Prices always vary but last time I had one (few years back) it was $1.99.  I’ll keep an eye out this Thursday.  Update: The Taco Bell website shows the price at $1.49.

  1. The Black Jack taco was horrible.

I wish they’d keep the black shell though.

  2. Taco Bell is really inconsistent about product availability; our old friend John Hoy gets one of these every time we go there.

  5. I thought this was one of those things that, while not on the menu, they were still able to make upon request?

At least they did at my local Taco Bell. I’ve been ordering these from time to time ever since it was “discontinued”.

  8. this has always been available at the bell, however, this is a decent deal, as I think it was always a bit pricier. its one of those items that makes it seem like they have a diversity of offerings, but the operators don’t require any new inventory…
