Food News: New! Chicken Ranch Gordita from Taco Bell
Another newcomer to the Taco Bell menu is the Chicken Ranch Gordita…and only 89cents!!! Like the ad says, “A Gordita has never been 89¢”. Seems well worth a try for that price. Had one yesterday…it sucked. There was so much moisture in the chicken and the ranch sauce that the flatbread disintegrated. It was the first item I ate out of my order, so it is not like it had a long time to rest and get soggy. I won’t ever order one again.
1Just had two based on this post, delicious! You should try it again after they figure out how to make them Helldog, sounds like you got unlucky.
2My parents both had one of these today and they both hated it. They didn’t seem to have many reasons, just didn’t like the taste. And they usually like Taco Bell’s stuff, so I probably won’t be giving this a try.
3I had a few of these today and I loved them. The gordita bread was delicious and the chicken and ranch popped and tasted great
4i had two of these today. Nothing really to complain about, although the ranch was a bit heavy on one of them, but when I ordered them the cashier didn’t know what I was even talking about, so I couldn’t expect perfection. Lettuce was nice and crisp, and the barrier of ranch between the chicken and lettuce kept it cool which I think is what tied it all together. Plus, it’s a gordita, and it’s 89 cents.
5I *almost* stopped at Taco Bell last night. I’m still waiting for them to introduce something that brings me back. I don’t know exactly why, but I just haven’t been into Taco Bell for a few years now. I did enjoy the Volcano tacos, but they weren’t enough to warrant a repeat visit.
This new gordita seems like a pretty good deal at 89 cents.
6Had one today: ranch sauce sucks but I liked the gordita shell. Replace the sauce with any non-ranch sauce and they have a winner.
My favorite new item in the ever-rotating Taco Bell menu of doom is the 79 cent Crispy Potato Soft Taco. Mmmmm….
7i just had 2 last night and they were amazing!! im craving some more right now and im definitely gonna swing by and snag a few more tonight.

10This thing is awesome for .89 cents. I usualy order three evrytime I go, at least twice a week. Seriously, you can’t expect something high class for .89 cents so stop whining people, it’s the best for .89 cents!
really, these things are awesome. you people that hate them must go to the wrong damn taco bell. when me and my bf get them they are always stuffed super fat and they’re always fresh. i’ve had probably 30 (well idk how many but a lot) of these since they came out and never been let down.
