Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard at Dairy Queen
It’s officially August and just to remind you, the Dairy Queen Blizzard of the Month for August 2009 is the Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard. This Blizzard is a mix of Thin Mint cookie pieces, soft serve ice cream and a Crème de Menthe topping. Prices vary by location but you’re looking at around $2.85 for a small, $3.35 for a medium and $3.85 for the large. *Nutrition-wise…a small will run you 540 calories, 18 grams of fat and 67 grams of sugar. A large will cost you around 1080 calories, 38 grams of fat and 126 grams of sugar.

This Blizzard sounds really tasty, but I don’t think I’ll be getting one
I honestly never realized how full of calories and fat these Blizzards are until I saw the info here on GrubGrade a while back! I guess I just never gave it much thought.
Well, maybe I could have a small one…….
1@Adam Bomb – What….wussy
…a small only has about 600 calories…hahaha, I wonder what the large has….way too much at least that’s for sure.
2Oh ho! I missed this the first time around, but I’m getting one tomorrow, no question! Even if I have to travel to a neighboring town where the Blizzards aren’t embarrassingly runny at every single Dairy Queen location.
3Aren’t Blizzards supposed to be so thick that you can turn the cup upside down without it dumping out? Sounds like you’ve got some subpar DQ’s!
4Blizzards mixed with girl scout cookies is a marriage of gut-enlarging proportions. Luckily our DQ is staffed by incompetent teen girls more interested in taking smoke breaks. Table-cleaning is optional….thus I stay away.

6The DQ in my town is the pits. Order a blizzard from the incompetent teenage workers, and you’ll get a shake topped with cookie crumbles.
Omg had one need to puke after reading calories
