I use to work for Wnedy's in high school and thought EVERYBODY keept thier veggies refrigerated.
I am a food facility inspector now and recently found out that BK keeps thier veggies in a warm holding unit so "the burgers are warmer when sold". Me personally would be happy if my sandwich was a couple degrees cooler if it meant I could have crisp lettuce.

Count me in on the bandwagon of those who hate BK's lettuce. They are the bottom of the barrel when it comes to veggies and bacon.

One problem with BK, is if you get cheese on anything, they microwave it. It is always best to tell them not to nuke your food. In many cases, that's why their lettuce gets so limp and warm. They rarely wait and put the veggies on after the nuking process.

I'll akso have ot add, that if the mayo is not included, this sandwich would probably be not so messy or nearly as bad for you. If one can't live without some sort of dressing or condiment, why not use a vinaigrette dressing instead of mayo? It can be so much better for you, as well as better tasting in the long run.

The Tendergrill seems healthy, but it has partially hydrogenated oils in the chicken. Wish Chick-Fil-A was more widespread. See the ingredient list for the patty, and stay away:

TENDERGRILL® CHICKEN FILET (grilled): Chicken Breast with Rib Meat, Water, Seasoning (Maltodextrin, Salt, Sugar, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Garlic Powder, Spices, Natural Flavors, Onion Powder, Modified Corn Starch, Chicken Fat, Chicken Powder, Chicken Broth, Disodium Guanylate and Disodium Inosinate, Citric Acid, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Dehydrated Garlic, and Artificial Flavors.), Modified Corn Starch, Soybean Oil, Salt, Sodium Phosphates. GLAZED WITH: Water, Seasoning [Maltodextrin, Salt, Sugar, Methylcellulose, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Partially Hydrogenated Sunflower Oil, Modified Potato Starch, Fructose, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean Oil, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Dehydrated Garlic, Spices, Modified Corn Starch, Xanthan Gum, Natural Flavors, Disodium Guanylate and Disodium Inosinate, Chicken Fat, Carmel Color, Grill Flavor (from Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil), Chicken Powder, Chicken Broth, Turmeric, Smoke Flavor, Annatto Extract, and Artificial Flavors], Soybean Oil.

Couldn't agree more with the messiness of this sandwich. It is a tasty grilled chicken, but wear a bib when eating it. BK has the worst lettuce(soggy, warm and with a Hulk mutant-green hue to it).

I was wondering how much of the fat would be cut out by deleting the 18 gallons of mayo, thanks for doing the work Nick :) I've had the Tendergrill before, and I had them hold the mayo. It was pretty decent that way.

I agree with Bear about BK's veggies. They're always warm, floppy, and nasty!
