A bit classist of a statement, don’t you think?

I am sure there are PGA loving, tennis watching, trendy, hoidy toidy, communist, left wing nut jobs that snap into a Slim Jim from time to time as well. LOL

I can’t say I’m a fan of them. I don’t mid the flat beef jerky styled ones they came out with. Those are rather tasty, but for the price, I would just assume eat some real beef jerky. The flat Slim Jims look as if they were shot from a tube and formed in a mold.

I went to Catholic school and these were still available in the cafe on Fridays during lent. I guess they aren’t considered real meat by the clergy.

I agree. Too me, it’s like eating plastic with a hint of “meat” flavor. I’d rather have the real thing, if I’m in the mood for jerky.

I think Slim Jims are gross. They’re greasy and mushy, and they make a mockery of beef jerky. I used to eat them when I was a kid, but I can’t stomach them anymore. Tastes like spiced, partially liquified mystery meat wrapped in scotch tape.
