  2. Mmm… Those mushrooms look tasty. It’s about time someone put mushrooms on a burger without slathering it in brown gravy.

  3. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Man that looks amazing. Too bad I’ve never even heard of Carls Jr. I guess it isn’t a midwest chain?

You may also know them as Hardees?

The “crack-cocaine” of burgers! Not fit for mere mortals.

  6. @Therion – Hahaha. That’s awesome!

  7. Has anyone who’s posted a comment even tried this thing yet? It’s absolutely disgusting. They should’ve kept the Bourbon Burger and destroyed the recipie for this monstrosity. The mushrooms are slimy and the ‘garlic buttersauce’ is nasty.

  8. I liked the mushroom swiss burger that Hardee’s/Carl’s Jr. had waaaay back in the day, but I don’t know anyone that’s had this one. I remember having a portobello mushroom burger at Steak ‘n Shake a while back that was abysmal, though. The mushroom liquid completely soaked the bun until it was a soggy mess.

  9. This is one of the best fast food burgers I’ve ever had. I never had any type of mushroom burger before, but geez it was so awesome! Wasn’t soggy or anything, cheese was good. This is truly a Man’s burger!!!

I normally dont like mushrooms unless its on pizza. And mushrooms in a hamburger didnt sound very appealing at first. However this burger was suprisingly very good. Its ranks number 2 as my favorite carls jr product. Number one being the Teriyaki burger :)

  11. This burger kicks! Not a big fan of onions i’ll just replace them with extra ketchup.

  12. The new McDonald’s Swiss & Mushroom beats ALL of em hands-down – try it and see.
