In 1955 Ledo Pizza set out to “provide high quality food at a great value in a comfortable, family atmosphere” to students of the University of Maryland.  Today Ledo’s is providing great food and value up and down the east coast.   There are currently more than 90 Ledo’s stretching from Delaware down to Florida.

Over 50 years ago, Ledo’s got its start selling pizzas.  These were not your run of the mill round pizzas. The Ledo’s variety were square or rectangular (depending on size).  An often used tagline for the franchise has been, “Ledo Pizza is square, because we don’t cut corners.”  You can order one of seven specialty pizzas or you can create your own combination from the long list of toppings.  Each pie features a thin crispy crust, slightly sweet tomato sauce, cheese and the toppings of your choice.

While Ledo’s began with pizza, they definitely didn’t stop there.  Over the years they have added many items to their menu.  Ledo’s offers Italian classics such as spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmesan as well as various sandwiches, salads and appetizers.
